Description

One day while walking home from her job, Kurumi Akino finds a wounded young man, and saves his life. He mysteriously disappears after that, and leaves only the name “Hakuron”. Next thing she knows she’s been kidnapped from her school, and is on a private jet with that man, heading to China. It turns out she saved the life of the most infamous mobster in Hong Kong, and he wants her to stay with him.

I finished this manga half an hour ago and I still can't stop crying. Yes the ending was horrible and it was pretty raunchy 24/7 but still the ridiculous love they had for each other and the lengths they would go to is reason enough to read this manga

Do you like sexy bad boy bishies? Shinjo Mayu delivers them! Her bishies are drawn the best! Out of all her bad boy bishies, I like Hakuron's character the most. He is ruthless,dangerous, and deadly. A powerful character who ends up falling helplessly in love. This is the usual theme of her mangas and I have a great appetite for it. So I hope she continues to give us more mangas because I know she has great potential. Haou Airen is her best work so far, in my eyes. Because romance development and character build-up requires time I hope her next project is also a lengthy one.

Whereas she spent much time on this series and the plot but I feel she rushed it in some parts and that is why the series did not get the reviews it derserved. Well the ending, for one, was all wrong. Shinjo Mayu creates a fantasy and girls want to wake up from the dream with a smile. So the tragic end really was a disappointment for me. I also feel the ending was rushed and the plot could have been more tightly tied together. If we dont get a sequel for this series, I hope we get a bishie who is just as much of a bad boy as Hakuron in her next series.

I seek to read mature romance mangas. Shinjo Mayu adds a delicious spice of smut and I love that. It ofcourse has to be done tastefully and if the mangaka spends time in building the story and drama then the smut becomes more toxic. No one delivers it live Shinjo Mayu and I love her for it.

Although I think the ending was my favorite part (Other than the beginning) I just love how she showed his angel Promising he will atch over her and that he will always love her, forever. Crap, Im crying again! Its just sooo sad! I just wish they could have gotten married and live the life they wanted together! I think SHINJO Mayu needs to make a alternate ending for those of us who want to know what would happen if he didnt die. Whay did he have to cry!!!! But i do have to admit, the ending was adorable and If that ever happened to me, I would want someone saying that about me. Even though it is Extremely sad!!!

So, now that I've finished it I'm wondering why I even started.

At the end he died and neither him nor her found the happiness they were looking for. -.- Lame, if at least she would be with Foron (or what he was called) then one would be happy at the end.

The smut wasn't worth it, since I'm also no fan of rape and sexual abuse and don't need it to be glorified like this. Just because it may belong to the field of the mafia in that manga doesn't mean I do enjoy seeing someone getting raped. It added to its tragedy though.
Ignoring the rape scenes I enjoyed the rest until the end ruined it.
Ah well, I give it a 5 for its sweet and passionate parts and its chinese setting. Wasn't a total waste after all 😉

Seriously.....I dont get how this manga is bad..or even HORRIBLE!?? Come on guys....Hakuron lives in the mafia world, a world where everything is all about money and power. What do you expect from someone who has never been taught about love? Let alone the meaning of the word.....
I personally loved the manga. I really enjoyed reading it. SO far, I think this is one of the best mangas I've ever read. FOr those who called it sick or disturbing, you guys need to focus more on the story line rather than how many times Kurumi got raped. T.T

I'm sorry, but this is one of the worst mangas I've ever read.
It started out okay [with me ignoring the sexual abuse] but it just got stupider and stupider...
I stopped reading it at chapter 3. Since then, i've been avoiding it like the plague...

I love this manga. It's really pretty good, and I would suggest reading it. Maybe I'm a mature junkie? Who knows. But the mature-ness was just what I was looking for, and their is some depth to the manga, at least. Different from many of Shinjo Mayu's other works, and that's what I like.

The one thing that makes me waver: Kurumi. The female protagonist is so annoyingly stupid I could off myself, because it ruins the manga slightly for me. I wish she were a little stronger, smarter, something to give her that amazingness. It maybe wishful thinking, and I know she adds to the drama slightly (?) but c'mon, really. The innocence thing can only go so far in this manga, when it demands maturity like this.

Besides that, the manga is really good, so don't let Kurumi stop you. If you're into the maturity and the not-the-typical shoujo thing, I definitely recommend this. ^^

EDIT: The ending is stupid and sad, damnit. D= And, after re-reading this, I lied. Let Kurumi stop you. Really, there have been some dumb ones, but Kurumi takes the cake, and I mean that.

I understand why people dont like the sex parts but please read the caution sign you little immature people. Thats how life is love, sex, money, power. I enjoyed reading this series and I even have vol 8-9 hence I can solely tell you you dont know what you are missing if you didn't read 8-9. Also if no one noticed I would say 90% of SHINJO Mayu's mangas consist of one face and that is the male leading character in this manga and who is also present in every other manga. It doesnt seem to suprise me the male leading chracter in all her mangas have the same/similar face and even the hair haha.

Anyways I recommend you to read this story if you don't enjoy smut(I don't consider any raping involved because if you read it, it doesnt even seem like rape, its more volunteery then everyone thinks) But the ending is super sad and if you like SHINJO Mayu's work then I would say this one is really thought out and sincere. ^^ v

PS: For those who know and understand SHINJO Mayu's work most of her mangas and oneshots consist of the same kind of content .. just because this one shows a more dangerous sinde doesnt mean its bad. And just because a lot of people enjoy it doesnt mean they are twisted its just common sense that we like and enjoy reading stuff like this and can filter the sex parts and not be childish about it.

well ive been a big shinjo mayo fan 4 a long time...in fact this was th 1st manga of hers i ever read...& yes it shocked th hell out of me!!! frozen
i dont like kurumi that much & sometimes i do find her annoing...but ppl give her some slack!!! she went trough hell...
HAKURON-SAMA (i just love good-looking-yakuza-characters) in the end....truly shocking....never saw it coming!!!! i lost a part of my soul in tht last vol....turned to an empty shell
well thats not all i had to say...but im feeling lazy,so ill end it here...

MAFIA IN LOVE!!!

I've been looking for ages a story about bad men or rather so called bad men that are really nice, i like GOKUSEN cuz the heroine is a YAKUZA, but well its a shoujo type, and when i come across this one, GOD, IM IN LOVE!!!! Hakuron is the best, sexy, arrogant Mafia!!! Together with Kurumi... they have a good chemistry, the manga is good, very very good. and the story for every chapter truly will want you to be on the side of Hakuron...
Sure its DARK and DISTURBING, but i thank Mayu Shinjo for creating this one, cuz of its darkness, this is the REAL world after all. MAFIA do exist and so are the dark and disturb reality.
