Great

It really good, i originally started it because it had twins and was worried when i started because i thought it was going to be some cutesy story about switching places. But as soon as Arisa fell out the window, i knew i was wrong. People complain about the story being predicable, but i disagree. i think those people haven't read all the scanlated chapters because they are wrong. The king and the Arisa's connects is still not clear and you wonder if Arisa is the one who started handing out traitor cards. I love this manga and the mystery and psychological issues of all those in the class. I also enjoy the relationship between Tsubasa and Manabe

I agree with some reviewers. It's seriously annoying when the manga implies a character is the KING and all sudden they're not. But I can't wait until it ends so we finally know who the heck is KING!

Better than I expected

At first I thought this was going to be an extremely cliche shojo story about a girl switching places with her sister to see what her life was like and boy was I wrong!

Tsubasa, the main character, switches places with her sister after her sister attempts suicide. Upon walking in her sisters shoes she discovers that the whole class worships a being called the 'king' and on regular basis they ask the king to grant their wishes, and each time the king grants exactly one wish. After Tsubasa discovers the wishes really come true, she decides to find out who the king really is!
I liked the mystery and the drama and can't wait untill I read more!

Good but keeps repeating stuff

It was good for the first few chapters, but the author keeps repeating stuff D: She throws in a character and makes the readers think that chara is the king then proves that chara isn't. Then the cycle repeats several times. A potentially good manga if the author would stop doing that haha XD

started out so-so... but that was only because the author tricked me.

I've gotta agree with most of the comments below... the story seems predictable - you think you've got everything figured out - and you think, man, this story isn't all that special. of course, that is what you think, until you read a little further and realize that you've been played and manipulated up down sideways diagonally and in every single direction there is by this ingenious author. (but still, i exaggerate.)
The suspense, anxiety, and anticipation has been built up significantly better, more effectively in recent chapters than in the earlier ones. Whether or not the author had intended it to be this way (i personally believe that she had. I hope she had.), i don't know. Now more than ever, i find myself waiting impatiently for the next chapter to come out, so that I can get a confirmation on who the king is - and partially, where the romance is going. (thankfully, Mariko is gone now. The story runs so much cleaner -- mostly because there are far too many "Mariko"s already existing in other manga. She has become a cliche rather than a novelty)
The characters are not special. They (as far as I see it) cannot stand alone without the context of the plot line, which brings in so much of the mystery and air of secrecy that keeps you anticipating the next chapter. The secrecy also lends itself to creating intrigue between the characters and their relationships, as without Arisa, the secret, will stay a secret, and no answer is to be easily found.
I do know that this kind of shoujo will not be everybody's cup of tea, but if you do feel up to it... do take some time to try it.
p.s. I did actually go through some parts very fast, mostly because they were "i saw that coming" moments. Ironically, these moments actually did quite well to build the story up as a whole, even though my immediate response was to cringe. So if you can get over that (there are not that many of them), then i think you'll find this story very very enjoyable.

i really cannot stand these kind of shoujo mangas lol. not because it's bad, but because there is an extremely annoying person. in this case, it's a shitty mariko and a crappy classroom. this is an interesting manga but the only reason i'm not dropping it is because i want to see justice served. dumb middle school girl with the black hair! geez, i hate scumbags. especially creepy ones like mariko :-(

i like it. and i like it even more that i didn't expect myself to. the description was a total mess. if it's going to be like that, then more and more people would think it's some sort of girly mushy story of kids. good thing it was one of the top viewed shojo manga in onemanga that i've discovered it. it has a nice story to hook me this bad.i thought i didn't like it but this time i'm asking for more so that means i must've love it already.

...Just not very well done. It was pretty predictable, and typical shojo art isn't exactly fit for stories that try to be dark. Though the story is definitely really original, it does need to be a lil' less predictable though. The amazingly small cast really makes it more predictable.

This is an AMAZING story. I didn't have high hopes for it in the beginning. I figured it'd be some cutesy story about twins reuniting. Boy, was I WRONG. The end of the first chapter left me with CHILLS. This is the only manga I've ever read (and I read a LOT) that has ever hit me quite like this. I'm sitting on the edge of my chair after EVERY chapter (and it's not an obvious plot either-it really keeps you guessing and wanting more).
I can't WAIT for the next chapter!! And I'll definitely buy it when Del Rey releases it. Woo Del Rey!~
