Description

Sakurai Tomoki is a normal student whose motto is "normal is the best". If there is one thing abnormal, it is that he often dreams of a girl whose face he cannot even remember, and when he wakes up from that dream, he would always be crying. He tried leaving it as just a dream... but one day, from the sky, an angel descended.

It is rare to see a manga that has so many different elements, and still manages to pull it off well.
Ecchi, battle, romance, comedy, its got all of it, and it is still amusing. The situations are original (mostly anyway) and when it gets serious, it isn't affected by the comedy and ecchiness.
The mangaka has pulled off the perfect balance.
Its too bad the releases are so slow, but it seems that that is the case for most of the best mangas out there.

This is one of those rare occasions where you have a series that has a harem and ecchi but also has a pretty good plot added to it. Also, it's absolutely hilarious. I love the author's art and his use of chibi and such. Even though the story can get serious at times, it never forgets it's comedic part, and vice versa.

You would think because this series is violent, perverted, random and filled with plot holes it wouldn't be worth reading but somehow, the story works. The strength of the series comes in its complicated balancing act.

It has a lot of humor in it but it also has an air of mystery and a lot of drama. The drawings often go into simple SD but it also has beautifully detailed splash panels. Most series that tries to do too many things wind up doing none of it very well but somehow, this series pulls it off almost effortlessly giving an almost "slice of life" genre's feel at times.

Epic Ecchi Series

This manga really does have it all. Romance, ecchi, comedy, diverse characters, violence, and so much more. The main character is not a weak, spine-less dude, but one who abuses his power, yet is understanding and caring. Infact, the whole main cast is excellent, except for the dreaded "Childhood Friend". Yes, the cliché is here, and her sole role in the manga(up to where I've read) is to stop the main character from doing perverted stuff.

This manga, while the plot is solid, makes me laugh so much in each chapter. The humor mostly comes from the characters, and never seems to let up. One example would be in one of Tomoki's perverted quests, he gets discovered by his "Childhood Friend" and this time, no pounding is shown. Instead, we get a monologue about how that day, the strongest of them had fallen. next scene shows Tomoki who was thrown into concrete.

In short, very funny, recommend for ecchiness and comedy, and will leave you wanting more.

Only a few chapters released, but it's a great series so far. Reading the raws (rather looking at the pretty pictures and pretending I know what's going on) it's going to get even better.

One hopes that Hidoi will release more in the future.

At first it seems like a simple harem comedy.
But the story gets deeper as you progress, and even sometimes tragic and somehow cruel, while still managing to not get overboard and keep this incredibly funny settings for the rest of the manga without feeling strange.
I recomend this manga for the great laughter it will give you. From the incredibly perverted MC, to the really funny and cute girls or the completly CRAZY events that surrounds the unwilling peace loving MC 😛 .

Outburst of tragedy?

The last few chapters (from 67 upwards) were indeed a bit more tragic than we were used to. But I have to say that without these tragic episodes, which were in the plot every now and then, one would forget that the story has a serious side to it. This serious side at least makes me think a bit about the manga and not just put it aside like every other stupid ecchi harem comedy. Guess I can only say... well play Minazuki... well played indeed. I'm so looking forward to the rest of the story.

Gotta say I really enjoyed reading it. To me, what's most outstanding is the gorgeous, breathtaking artwork. And, c'mon who doesn't like b**bies, especially when they come in all different flavours.

It has a crazy mix of elements, in no specific order: ecchi protagonist, epic chibi/kawaii-ness, comedy, maiden desu desu, harem, battle, romance, sci-fi, mecha, wings/angels, etc etc - and yet it still pulls it off pretty darn well.

It's a fun and relaxing read and I enjoyed it lots.

The only "problem" is that I still can't figure out who (if ever) Tomoki will end up being with... but it is pretty safe to narrow it down to either Sohara or Ikaros. While I felt there was more favour towards Sohara in the start (I mean she's Tomoki's CHILDHOOD friend), Ikaros more likely going to be 'the one' as seen in the more recent plots...

Anyhows, go pick this up and give it a shot! 😀

PS - would give 10/10 but I just found something even better..!!!

Good Ecchi Comedy with Strong Action and Decent Conclusion

Standard premise (pervert male student meets strange woman with weird powers, lewd hijinks ensue), but also with a sense of mystery to the setting which isn't always given the best development or focus in the middle sections, but pays off handsomely in the powerful ending chapters. There's a goodly number of battles in this series, depicted well and done interestingly particularly as the series nears its conclusion. Taking into consideration that, like most ecchi-comedies, the middle sections were stretched thin plotwise while the start and end are crammed chock full of plot development, the author was nonetheless able to keep things coherent and send off the manga on a great and appropriate note. I highly recommend this series for those who like ecchi-comedy, since it is good for that and has other good draws and competent execution that put this work above much of its genre.

What makes this series refreshing and different from the rest is that the main character is a chivalrous pervert who does not shy away from delivering what makes an ecchi series. Unlike many ecchi series which shall not be named and feature spineless protagonists who 'accidentally', 'unintentionally' but always successfully end up molesting a girl in every chapter, this time we have a genre savvy character who knows what his job is.

Add to that some good art and comedy that is actually funny at times and you have a splendid series. Save for the same old cliche - every girl falls for the ordinary protagonist almost immediately and unconvincingly, and is ready to die for him. Well, at least it advances the plot.
