When I was reading it the first thing I noticed was that a lot of people were shitting on it because they thought it was just the chinese remake of True Beauty.
Tbh Idk if it is the remake but there are definetely diferences with the FL's character and the plot so far tbh.
I think the only real thing that's practically the same is Xuemi's appearance is like identical to Jugyeong's lmao, but even then you could just say that's because of them both fitting the ideal beauty standard so ofc they look the same, and more innocent characters tend to be given brown hair because it's softer. Yk?

So far it's good, there are a few things that really are stupid, like the author is trying to get the characters to connect dots to find out who Xuemi is but it's all really far fetched lmao.
Other than that, the FL can be somewhat annoying in what she says at times and with the comments she makes about people's appearance and how you must look pretty, but ofc that's just part of her character and I expect, since it's only 23 eps in, that she'll get some character development and learn not to be so prejudiced and hypocritical.
