Description

The small country of Adarshan recently conquered a territory of the Castoria Empire. To create an alliance between the two countries and secure new border alignments, the victorious Adarshan general, Alexid Deke Adars (the king's younger stepbrother), was forced into a political marriage with Castoria's sixth imperial princess Justinia. But she's only 10 years old!

It's alright and the art is pretty cute 🙂 My only problem is the storyline is too hard to follow...it has too many words to read even though I love reading...I wish these shoujo war based stories would have at least some sort of battle...but maybe that's just my wish sigh

I was reluctant in picking this manga up because I didn't think any romance can develop between a 10-year old girl and a 20-year old man. However, I was drawn by the cute illustration. I really like the drawings--a lot. It's too bad that other mangas by the same authors are all Yaoi (I'm not against it, but I prefer shoujo) and unscanlated.
The prince (the 20-year old man) is really attractive. It would be nice to see the romance between the two main characters...only if the princess is uh...older. It's kinda hard to picture them having any kind of romantic interactions.
Anyhow, there has been only a few chapters out so far. So, there are still time and space for a lot of development! just hope that the manga wouldn't jump "1 year" or "5 years" later within a chapter.

I really don't like the middle part and I doubt I will like the ending. The characters are cute but sometimes they are annoying to the point where I don't really see how this story can progress. BUT! The it isn't finish yet so there's still time for improvement. I guess it's a good manga to pick up when it's raining or just bored.

I was a little reluctant to read this at first from the fact that it looked a lot like a lolicon type of series, and with my no-lolicon-or-smut-or-shotacon rule, I wasn't about to read it. But curiosity got the best of me and I actually like it. I only wish they had a map or something somewhere. With all those countries, you're bound to get confused. Besides. I'm more of a visual person. Maybe less monologue too. Manga + Monologue = novel with pictures.

The art is really good, storyline is interesting. If you think about the age difference a bit, it's only 5 years apart. But since they are young, (especially how tiny the girl is!) so it seems like a big deal. I'm hoping that the girl will grow up soon, since she's already so cute (and that way, it won't seem so awkward with the two...). I like the part about Alexid, how he's a "demon" but he doesn't really want to be seen that way, but he doesn't care about how people think about him.

well I had held off on reading this because like everyone said the age difference. But so far it hasn't been a big deal. The part were he is taken with her... well for me it's like when you have a neice/sibling and you want to make them happy, you want to see them smile. So needless to say I'm not rooting for romance XD I do love the main guy something awful.
The art is beautiful, only real problem it's a bit hard to follow D:
Edit: I've read 5 chapters now and well it still gets confusing at times -3- but it is really cute

To be quite honest, I think Adarshan Hanayome is not a manga focused purely on romance only. Even if the main point of the story (up until now that is) is the marriage between a man and a girl with an age gap that many find unsettling.

I think the main point of the story is the focus on the kingdoms of that medieval world setting, especially Castoria and its monarchy. I'm getting the feeling the mangaka would later move the attention to it on future chapters. It's a bit like Kyou Kara Maou, you expect some fluffy BL moments but most of the time, the story revolves around the Demon Tribe and how Yuri handles his duties as the king.

I'm guessing Adarshan would be the same way, most of the story revolves around Alexid instead as he performs his duties for his brother, the king and the politics of the country. The romance is just there, as part of the plot, but it's not going to get mainstream anytime soon. Yes, there might be some mushy scenes between Alexid and Justinia later on but as evidenced on chapters 1-3, they're mostly platonic. Nothing really that romantic in a sense.

Still, I have high hopes for this manga, look at the gorgeous artwork. And it has tons of potential that hopefully won't get wasted.

This is great. I love the characters, but his brother is kinda mean, but still pretty! I guess you can't expect all pretty people to be nice too. I think that their age difference is kinda far, but it's not unlike many other manga. They have a 4-year age difference. You can see that in other mangas when the girl is 16 and the boys (usually sensei) is 20.... so it's not that awkward. Except that Alexid doesn't look 14 years old.

You find out that Alexid is 14 when you see that his friend is 20 and he is 6 years younger than him.

I didn't read the synopsis for this manga before I looked at the first chapter, so I was in for a little surprise. I hope to the sweet Lord that Adarshan does not fall in love with that little girl. 10 years old? Okay, I thought I was reading something dirty for a sec. And they way Adarshan becomes quickly taken by the young girl is a bit disturbing with the fact in mind that he is to marry her.

The art is nice, but as with some artists I prefer the more elaborate cover art they produce. Which is the case, I really like the full color drawings. The story had a hard time keeping my attention, and that usually happens when war and politics are involved. It seems like it could be an interesting comic as long as it does not get all freaky on me.

I am having a little problem with the age difference with between the prince and princess. I guess this shojo is not for everyone. The art looks nice though.
