This story draws out the romance with the male lead. There are a number of false starts, misunderstandings (as is common with a clueless doctor), and realizations. Although the female lead has a sex indiscriminately with random people before the male lead, after developing feelings for him, she tries to develop strategies to stop "going with the flow".
