This manga has a lot of common elements, but does a very good job of twisting them into something new. The art has an old-school feel to it, with none of the trappings of moe influence. The story is a bit eccentric, even a bit kinky at times, but the romance between our leading lady, Urabe, and her faithful boyfriend, Tsubaki is one of the sweetest romances in manga.
I have a contrary opinion on Tsubaki being a typical dense, spineless coward that won't put the moves on a willing girl. Yes, Urabe was the one that approached him and started the relationship, but she is also the one that is holding it back. He does try to move things forward, like when he
hugs her spontaneously.
What is his reward? Panty Scissors! At one point he asks
! if he can put his arm around her shoulder?
Panty Scissors! However, it is clear that Urabe does have genuine feelings for him. When she
! accidentally cuts him with her panty scissors she is absolutely beside herself, then she won't tell him what the dream she had that had her so off balance was, but admits that, while Tsubaki is a pervert, she is a bit like that too...
My favorite parts of the manga are when the two of them grow closer as a couple or are caring for each other. For instance, the arc where she is home sick, and he
! leaves his school shirt as a substitute is sooooo sweet, and sooooo sexy!

Three days later I was wishing the next chapter would come out NOW! It turned into one of my favorites. If it wasn't for the slightly excessive underage nudity, I would give it a 10...
