Women Readers May Miss the Point...

Men readers are less likely to. This is a classic young man's fantasy that gradually segues into a classic male nightmare. To move in with a group of pretty girls, with sex and/or love necessarily highly possible in the situation simply because at least one of them is likely to go for you, is the fantasy part, and a rich one it is!
To then gradually find out that you are going to be reduced to primarily a doer of "Honey do's" (middle aged men's nickname for the endless manly chores that wives expect of husbands of long duration) is the disappointing reality that many men find in marriage.
In other words, men tend to start out with a romantic, hopeful view of marriage or involvement (romance, male version), but often gradually lose that and start to feel trapped instead.
It is so sad that the scanlators dropped this manga near the half-way point. That's because husband-wife relationships, which the story really seems to symbolize, often later go on to better things once again, and I would just bet that that is what happens in this manga as it plays out to its end.
It's the human condition, after all.

..at around volume 4. this manga starts having some color to it (yay!) but chapters become significantly smaller and what becomes of the meager story progression is killed off in an episodic drone.
before vol4, this manga was a nice guilty pleasure where the plot did have a nice gradual progression from borderline into softcore. i didn't mind this at all since there was some story to it, as well as the girls displaying empowerment and confidence which is rare at times for these category tags.
my main beef is that the protagonist is the classic beta while chalking up complaints in every other speech bubble. granted, the story would be played out pretty differently if he was alpha.. wait no, scratch that, it would be awesome if the story played that out where we have a confident male caught between his aloof lover and 2 vixens that he boards with, while slowing having his wits crumble to their mischievous and provocative plays. but no, the author had to play it safe and make the protagonist the same old cookie cutter betatrash you see in all romance harems. at least he's not as bad as some... but really, im getting sick of the same old setup.

Too much sex, plot is just an excuse to show more sex and what more, I HATE weak willed characters, and if they additionaly freak out on the sight of a female flesh or underwear, they get lowest possible notes. And saying that "it's just for the sake of later character development" just don't cut, most of them stay that way forever. Man, do I hate Love Hina.

at the start it was great with lots of teasing and what not, BUT
as soon as the sex starts it all goes down hill and even more so with the way the chpts became more episodic rather then have anything to do with the original story.
all i can say is that i hope it goes back to the way it was and gets on with the story.

Okay, sure, the art can only be described as "nuts and bolts" without saying anything bad about it (although that has probably helped slip a few things past the censors that otherwise might not have been). But if you like other stories like Nana to Kaoru, Koe de Oshigoto, My Balls, etc, then I'd be more than a little surprised if you don't like this one.
Despite the lack of a thing called plot, it gets high marks from me. Entertainment value always wins out at the end of the day.

so much reliance on sex to get the story moving..... i dont like it but still there are parts about this manga other than sex that is appealing. however small that might be =p. its an interesting read id give it a solid score. not for children though

Even though the setup is that of just another highly improbable harem series, there is something about the emotional tone of the characters interactions that somehow rings true. It's good pervy fun that always leaves me wanting more.
A good perverted read.

The evolution of the story is pretty mixed up and, as mentioned by others, there's plenty of fairly graphic sex later on. If sex based humor isn't your thing, skip this. Otherwise, kick the kids out the room and enjoy.

Really liking this one. There is a pretty good dynamic here between the characters. The artwork isn't the best, but it works well enough. Good pervy fun.

"Umm, starting with volume 3 onwards, there's a rather consistent amount of sex scenes." - Yup, that's why it's seinen, for adult only. But it's still a very good one, lots of funny and romantic plot.
Can't wait to get more ^^
