great, rushed ending

Beautiful art!! FL is such an intelligent baddie, and i loved how this series focused more on her schemes than on romance. FL saves herself and uses her fists and wits to do so. She is also very straightforward and speaks her mind. Also had an endearing cast of side characters. we did get a little romance towards the end of the manhwa for the FL, but it was rushed!! disappointing because i liked the ml and their relationship dynamic. Seems like this series got axed, that's explain the rush ending. Too bad since it had so many potential for the story and world building too 🙁

I will definitely be running to read the novel!!

Very good, with one caveat

I really, really like this overall. The setting isn't anything too special, but what makes it great is that it allows side characters to really develop and have major roles. Some good stuff right there!

The main character herself is an absolute gem as well. Mostly well written, with the exception of that one caveat mentioned in the title.

Speaking of, I'll mention it here. The caveat is, as is usual for a manwha, the romance and the ML... This is one of those that really should not have been a romance to begin with. There is almost 0 romance until the last 5 chapters or so. And no, I'm not exaggerating. And despite this fact, its painfully obvious who the ML is supposed to be the first time he appears (around chapter 30-40?). In addition to this, the ML has two, TWO, appearances before the last few chapters. There is NO time for any romance to develop, nor is the ML anything more than a bunch of cliches. Presumably this is due to the author not having time to develop him, so they just made him as cliche as can be so the readers know he's the ML... Added to this, he is one of the as I like to call them, "genie MLs". As in, he appears, seems to know everything, gives FL a hint or solves a problem for her, then disappears. I can't stand the kind...

Would probably have rated this 8.5, maybe even 9, if it wasn't for the caveat. But such is life.

Lets be real, there aren't that many mangas/manhwas with a cool FL, but this is one of them! She's such a rarity honestly - a little arrogant but with the smarts and athleticism to back it up, noble family but not too high or low status, cold personality while also having close friends and family. You might get a couple of these but not all.

What you end up with is a story lacking annoying cliches and wishy washy romances that go no where, and instead you have a uniquely captivating and resourceful FL, who never lets you down.

My only gripe is that the story isn't long enough and its not romance heavy. The main couple is a very interesting match so I wish the novel/manhwa had another arc to flesh it out more especially

his family and country. how she manages to be together with him etc

I love the story, mystery, and esp the female lead so much!! I think it’s the perfect pace, not too fast or too much filler just the perfect amount. Zenith, the FL, has to be one of all time favorites. The way she speaks and acts is very refreshing, you’ll know what I mean when you read it! Reminds me a little of Wednesday (the new one) which I also loved a lot. The art is also super beautiful but that’s just a bonus! 10/10 recommend
