Oneshot (Complete)

first, the art. of course it is beautiful and full of life, since this is the artist for hikaru no go. the character design is very good, i love the mc's clothes and tattoos. other characters also have thier own personality even though they don't have much screen time because of the good character design. secondly the plot is is good, with an interesting twist and an interesting twist to the twist itself. this one shot is recommended for anyone that like criminal protagonist.
the art looks like death note (of course it's from the same artist) so i got interested and read it. i find the story funny actually. hahaha poor kin-chan eh.
10 for the art
7 for the story
7.5 overall
The girl only did it with the elder brother as she clearly indicated she and the child would be waiting for him 10 or even 20 years. She was 9 months pregnant when he was gone only 4 months. But ever since he failed the mission of killing the Yakuza boss they knew he would be killed. When he was unwilling to kill the girl did say to the little brother "it looks like we have no choice" meaning they already planned this in the event he failed. It seems the girl planned it so that they (she and their child) can survive and the little brother just followed her orders. The little brother was forced to betray his brother just so that they can survive. When they were cornered the little brother made up a lie that the baby is his just so that his brother didn't have to suffer knowing he left his child fatherless and die peacfully.
the art was 10/10 The story was good as well, if not just a tad bit predictable. I can't believe it! I feel baaaaad for the protagonist although I'm not as affected as I usually am in those unforeseen tragedies. Maybe if the story was longer and if I didn't know it was coming.
i really liked the artwork but the story was too crammed together.
Didn't really like the ending since the main character just shot himself -_-' wish it would show a conclusion or something...

It was okay. The art was superb as always, and fit the story. But the story was crammed and was trying for emotional, but failed to grab me in in the first place. So I was just reading it, wondering what the heck was happening. The "twist" at the end just made me roll my eyes, didn't see it coming, or care to. And the ending itself was... iffy, to say the least. I nearly punched the main char through my monitor for his stupid.
Shame, I had high hopes. The gang thing was pretty promising...
I read this on a whim and did not regret doing so. It was somewhat fresh since it hadn't been done before (or i haven't read anything like this before). I felt they could have gone further with this beginning and it could have become an interesting series. Like one of those manga/anime that just stands out because of its creativity and ability to branch off from the normal cliche that is associated with manga.
