Cute and Refreshing

Honestly, the story was really slow, and wasn't very romantic, but the cute and funny moments kept me reading to the very end, and the ending was so sweet, I died inside, and starting crying on the outside. Some people say that it is overrated, but, the story is adorable and is really refreshing to read after reading a dramatic and sad manga.

I can see why this is rated so highly

I enjoyed this manga IMMENSELY. Sometimes It's frustrating to see such dense characters when it comes to love, but when it's part of their very being, it works.

Kujou

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
She is probably one of my favorite shoujo female leads now. Her social & emotional awkwardness were a joy to read. Before she realizes her feelings she says that Yanagi is her precious friend who she wanted to be with forever. It was a adorable how dense she was. Even after Yanagi basically tells her directly what his ideal girl is (He's describes her), she still believes he likes someone else. She eventually realizes her feelings and finally confesses to him like he always wanted.

Yanagi

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I liked Yanagi because for once he was a shoujo male lead that wasn't just your typical rich/popular/smart/cool guy. He always thought it was just a rivalry with her and it sorta was, but he realized that he was just like that because he had fallen for her the day he met her. He was affected heavily by Kujou and it worked in his favor. He became an all around better guy and what was nice was because of how Kujou was, NONE of that mattered to her like it does to so many other shoujo leads. He was actually very shy and a bit prone to mood swings. He wanted her to confess first because of her social awkwardness she always said they were friends. He finally gets the girl and wins the LAST GAME (his declaration towards the beginning was that he would win when he puts a ring on her finger.)

The rest

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Fujimoto and Miyabe were a cute couple. Actually put well together. Souma was an all around douche, who you did feel bad for at times (losing the girl he likes in highschool and who liked him because of food poisoning to his best friend), but he was still annoying. Momoka was an all around bitch, but an enjoyable character. It's hinted that Souma started liking her at the end because of their connection in rejection with Kujou and Yanagi. The other guys in the club were funny comic relief.

All in all, this is probably one of the best shoujos I've read in a long time, up there with probably Ao Haru Ride which I also enjoyed immensely. I would love to see this as an anime or movie. Probably won't happen, but it would be nice.

Cute but Overrated

I found this series rather cute in a "makes you feel fluffy inside" sort of way, but honestly, that's really it. I'm rather surprised at how much it's taken off and gained such a large fanbase. Nothing super groundbreaking in the realm of shoujo manga here, folks (though it's admittedly better than average). The main guy is adorable in his quests to woo the main girl, but she just came across as kind of stoic and bland as a character (e.i. not many defining traits to remember her by). There wasn't anything super unique that kept me hooked so I dropped it after the first 10 or 12 chapters as it got a bit repetitive.

This touched my heart with Yanagi-san's shocked/jealous face.

Though the art's a little weird(Their eyes seem to be flat), I may ignore this as it is modern art evolution. It seems like Yanagi-san is a spoiled child; though he doesn't want to. I love this manga somehow. It felt nostalgic(?).

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
But what about the other love triangle member? What about him? He seemed really sad. Moreover, let him and a sweet cute girl date. That is what we, guys, like---cute girls with double cute & nice & kind personality combo. MC, Kujou-san, is really dense. It makes me lose my track of romance when she tsukkomi'd Yanagi-san as a dense guy..

It's Overrated but Still a Nice Read

Yup this a good manga I have to admit it, what you read at the beginning is somewhat safe to say what you'll read till the end. Which is both good and bad, the manga is constant, doesn't stray from where it's heading, the only problem is that it's too predictable... Even though it's tagged as drama, in my opinion it has almost none. I gave it a 9 out of enjoyment but for some I understand that it might start to drag cause the story doesn't really develop much outside the main "couple" even tough it takes place in college which is quite rare.
Generally speaking I think that Maid-sama is a way more interesting and good manga than this and it deserves better score than this(except the ending)... Last Game ending was way more realistic and made sense. It was fun, but there are still much better out there if you prefer.

Struggling

I'm really struggling to finish this manga. I get that she's supposed to be dense, but I'm starting to think she's borderline mentally retarded. Total overkill on this character's personality, and it's unnecessary to the story line. The romance could have slowly progressed as intended without the beyond excessive "denseness" that the character portrays.

Unrealistic and very exaggerated.

The manga is stupid. I don't understand why it is in the suggestions when it comes to Koi Dano confused

There isn't much wrong with the characters. The plot was simple, and this manga had a lot of potential to become a deep, heartwarming manga about friendship, romance and discovering those feelings and living them for he first time. Besides, it had awesome art.
Nobody can go wrong with something like this, right?
WROOOONG!
The way the character are made is very dumb. Very exaggerated and very unrealistic.
The female lead is dense when it comes to social life, right? But she is not dense and inexperienced, she had the mind of a child. If she was smart, she would think over the meaning of few things that happened in front of her. In Koi Dano, the girl is dense when it comes to love, and she doesn't notice certain things, but this is only because she can't imagine somebody feeling this way towards her. And when the certain things become a but obvious, she starts to wonder what it was. This is a succesful dense-when-it-comes-to-love character.
The female in Last Game is too exaggerated.
One thing I hated is that how the love triangle is written very badly. The way each character fell in love was too unrealistic, and the interactions felt very unnatural.

This is a manga that had the potential of becoming a deep manga, but it was just too badly written and exaggerated that it felt too unnatural and annoying to read.

The only good thing was the art, and every now and then there were funny jokes, but the rest was just too badly written for me to like. Couldn't continue it.

Annoying

It's so annoying for a romance manga to go on so long without any progress in the relationship. After a while, it kills the story. In real life, love comes on like a freight train and there's nothing you can do to stop it, so how can these two spend most of their lives together and still have no progress. I just can't read any more.

At first i really liked this manga but at some point the story didn't have progress and there wasn't a good plot or characters that made me want to kept reading. I didn't read the latest chapters but it felt so frustating watching the main girl be so dense, how can she be so blind and don't notice the feelings of the main guy? i just can't, it's so annoying that she is so clueless all the time.I would catch up with the updates. The things that are really good points it's that the romance is really pure the main guy is so sweet and the drawings are nice.
