How to buy a flat screen TV in Japan

Is this series worth reading? Well, Vol. 11 is about how to buy a flat screen TV in Japan. In mind-numbing detail. Every tedious step from picking out the right model to match your home to where to buy it to how much money it should cost. And that's it, that's the plot.
This is the most ridiculously boring manga I have ever read. The author picks one real-life topic and pounds it into the ground. Topics that are not interesting in the slightest. Like aforementioned TV topic. Or what bed to buy a toddler. Or how to efficiently manage a restaurant stall.
If you got hooked by the series description- the series isn't like that at all! Be warned.

14 volumes of nothing

This is borderline garbage.
I cannot stomach the happy go lucky attitude of the main character, the forced romance bs and going about without care for your actions.
I kept on reading to see if anything changed, it had 14 volumes out, it had to be because of something right? It didn't, even a whole volume was wasted on meaningless side stories. The worst of all was to scroll past the author monologues on social or overall meaningful subjects.
I don't know why anyone would want to waste
its time reading this unless you are looking for happy reading with no consequences and everything laid out to be almost like a slice of life manga.
Edit: I didn't know the demographics of this until now, it explains a LOT, basically, this is a kiddies manga.
