Overall, the story felt bland. I mean I get this sort of genre has similar events, but I feel there were some that actually executed the story better. Also, I was actually hoping for a secondary romance (like for the original "novel female lead" or some BL relationship between Oscar and Gerald).

the story should have ended mid s3, after that it all felt like rediculous and boring padding. the art is fantastic thou. especially the clothes.

Have potential but declined over some chapters

Strong start but after that, unnecessary scenes added. Based on some manhwas I read, the best one tend to have less than 100 chapters (excluding bonus).

Anyway, I enjoyed the art, I love the art style and just keep reading out of boredom.

Lots of people commenting the fl is dumb or sum but seriously, she could never know anything we know since we are the reader who knows everyone's thoughts. So please understand.. In the beginning, she obviously stated that she wants to be friend with ml and ml never said he loves her or anything at first so it is given if she didn't know. And saying things about age, age is just number. No matter how old they are, real or not, it never affect you mentally since it is just numbers. And if your surroundings treat you like a kid, then your actions will reflect like one, underconsiously.

If you want to try read this, read with more understanding before getting frustrated, u gotta have headache otherwise 🤣

Started okay, but became unreadable

Skip this, it is bad.

In the beginning it was fine, if not particularly good. Pretty silly plot, but the art was enough to carry it. However, starting with the second season the plot became sillier and sillier and horribly executed.

The plot here is too dumb to be a power rangers episode.
The characters are also all equally childish. We have a 22 year old prince that acts like he is 12 with regards to romance which is silly.

The female lead, which is supposed to be about 30 at this point is not much better. This whole blushing on every touch is fine when they were actually 12 or even 15, but is just a cringe to watch now.

Definitely could’ve ended sooner. The story was way too long as they just started adding more plot to one that could’ve ended chapters ago! The art was decent, and the story was cute in the beginning but began to dull out in the second half.

Childish at times but entertaining

I love the ML’s characterization a lot. He reminds me a lot of Ishid from Villainess in Love. He’s very innocent and dog-like. I think the FL is a little lackluster. She is very much Bakarina-lite; she does use her knowledge effectively, but it gets frustrating seeing how dense she is. She also doesn’t have as big of a harem as Bakarina, which is a plus or a minus depending on what you’re into. The side characters are a bit more fleshed out, but not by much. I still adore them tho. I just find it kinda strange that the FL’s family pretty much disappear in the 2nd half, and the emperor kinda disappears as well. It’s less interesting for the antagonists’ s side.

Plot = 5/10
It’s fast-paced and lots of fun in the first half, but it starts to meander towards the second. There are a couple filler episodes that are quite cute, but they do take you a bit out of the story. If you can get over the dumb childishness the ML’s and FL’s relationship is quite cute. It just kinda feels like the antagonists are not very good. I’ve seen better evil plots that were smarter and less impulsive. I felt it ended up dragging out the story a bit, but I can’t complain that much as it gave us some sweet ML&FL moments (and also one side characters’ relationship moment).

started off somewhat interesting, thought it might explore subverting tropes a bit more, but after some initial conflicts get resolved it's nearly unbearable. pretty art, mostly.

Another Isekai

Ive been reading a lot of Manhwas under the category of Isekai lately and you will definitely see the resemblance of the plots.

The MC died got transferred to another world, met the prince, problem, then marry then end.

What sets apart this manhwa from the others is what the MC's predicament between the empress. No love triangles and no magic powers involved, not so complicated plot.

The new manhwa chapters are so nerve wrecking

I hope my cinnamon roll Ethan doesnt die. If that happens my heart is gonna break, big time! The cliff hanger is too painful. and it keeps me wanting more.

I hope the chapters are updated weekly rather than monthly (im sorry if that sounds rude. Its ok if its just monthly as long as its updated)

Kudos to the illustrators, writers and ofcourse.. Our translators. 🌼
