idk what was the author expecting for us to root such a shitty ml. he has a gf (like a serious one), made horrible remarks about guys liking other guys and despite all this he has balls to act possessive and act controlling with the mc. i literally dont understand how the heck is the mc in love with ml after all that. was so frustrating to see mc getting blushy and teary over shit ml, like 😕??

as much as i love reading yanderes i literally cant like the yandere here hes like a major turn off. 20 chapters in and he seems to get worse with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. as much as i hope for some new ml to be introduced but seeing how the shit ml is on the cover, what are the chances that there will happen? close to 0 maybe!

ML: I'm going to live a perfectly normal heterosexual life with girlfriend while giving my ex-boyfriend (who is still in love with me) just enough affection to control and emotionally torture him.

Redeemable qualities? None. He comes across as incredibly fake, and MC is almost too pitiful to feel bad for.

I don't get series like this... it's clear ML is super controlling yandere type, extremely touchy-feely and overbearing... but he has a girlfriend of 3 years that he's in a serious relationship with... he keeps forcing MC to see them together, so I'm thinking, "ah what a psycho, he's picked up on MC's feelings and is trying to make him jealous to goad him into confessing?" But no, he goes on a little homophobic rant to his girlfriend in front of MC... and understandably MC feels like shit. I don't even understand their friendship at this point, much less MC having romantic feelings for this guy.
Anyway I am 20 chapters into this misery and all I see is a horror story about an abusively controlling friend who seemingly doesn't even reciprocate his romantic feelings.
Even yandere-lovers probably won't find this very enjoyable, and the yandere-apathetic will most likely find this unreadable.
