The review below is quite harsh...
I'm not saying that this story is fantastic but the circumstances of her previous marriage is not something that she can control... Women in those times are property...
I enjoy reading these stories because it is usually women breaking out of the stiff confines that the society around them put onto them.
So yes she had 3 husbands in her first life... but that isn't awful or wrong nor was a circumstance that she could control.
I think the way the person below me talks about women is rather gross, if the FL wanted to be free sexually then that should be her choice - not the choice of her father who passed her off like a prize to other people.
In terms of the story - it is pretty cliche. I feel like the pacing is a little off at times. The FL has doubts and is insecure at times which is relatively normal but I did find it a bit too woe-is-me. So I skipped over it a lot.
It has the common misconception/miscommunication troupe which I am not about. Just say what it is that you want/think.
I'm not sure if I will continue the story- I don't feel attached to the FL or the ML. There is no real... connection. There isn't really anything that is surprising or new. Or anything to hold my attention. I enjoyed up to where I'm at but it's not a story that I would be able to recall after a week or two.
