Description
Tomoaki Takanashi has just started at his first proper job and soon learns that his manager, Chikashi Tokunaga, is gay. The other employees all know, too, but they also all know that Chikashi's romantically interested in Mr. Furuya, the CEO. Although Tomoaki's taken aback by such an open and welcoming company, he soon realizes that he can't keep his eyes off Chikashi. Are these feelings... love!? This is a cute love story between a straight subordinate and his gay manager.

Simple and kind of refreshing.
The characters are very well stablish and no one ia cringe. I really liked the "elder" character and his backstory.

I love this manga! It was so much more than I was expecting it to be. All the characters in it -- even Furiya/Furuya (sp?), the unrequited love in the "love triangle" (which isn't really a love triangle lol) --are just super nice, likeable people. This is a really wholesome and heartwarming story. The chapter about Furiya/Furuya (the unrequited love) made me cry. I am SO happy there's a sequel.
If you like the main story, I recommend skipping the chapter about the high school students (ch 5). It has a completely different vibe with twisted characters. I didn't read the whole chapter, so I can't say for sure how everything turns out, but it looked like the chapter was heading for a rape scene, which was when I stopped reading. I have no idea why this story would be published with the main one when they are so different and likely have different target audiences.
Update: I just reread this in March 2022, and I AGAIN cried ugly tears in the old man's chapter. I love him so much.

The main couple are cute and fun. Their stories are more light hearted than the other two and the humour is right up my alley. I liked how Takanshi's misconceptions cleared up slowly over time. The POV changes were great too since they helped to develop both characters pretty well.
The story when the boss was young is so sad and bittersweet. I almost teared up. It was my favourite chapter of the volume. It really adds a much greater dimension to how/why the boss interacts with his employees so competently and nicely.
The story with the high school council members revolves around painful love and appearances being different from how they really are. The story is a bit cruel but the acceptance they have of each other at the end is satisfying.
