Like someone else before me said. This author is way too shallow. The male lead is just plain creepy and the heroine may appear "strong" but she really isn't.
Overall, shallow and bland.

Compared to the mangaka's two other works, this is pretty boring. How much ever I try, I can not find it interesting. It probably might be cause I enjoyed her other works so very much and I expected the same with this.

This is the kind of manga I really love. This is one of my top favorite manga as of right now. I like it even better than 007. There are a lot of mixed reviews for this manga. I suppose I have to agree that it is "cliche", but honestly? I LOVE cliches. However, that being said, this story does have some uniqueness to it. I've read the first 20 chapters and I'm loving it so far.

Basically, read it for yourself before you decide whether you like it or not. I recommend reading to at least chapter 3. Chapter 1 and 2 has the most "cliches", so if you read a little past that, you'll start to see more of the uniqueness.

Also, the art is absolutely beautiful. I don't particularly like the cover art, but the actual art for the manga is really great.

I didn't read much-just until the part Noa sees the priest for the first time-but it's crossed off my list already. THE ART. Pushing aside all the 'strong, beautiful and brave heroine' stuff, the art kills me. I was fine with the cover pic-but the face got to me. That's art I can't get used to...
Then I'll bring in all the cliches. So far from what I read:
-girl deeply hated by village
-opening scene is where girl is dying and handsome man saves her for a price
-heroine is astonishingly beautiful
-hero is crazy hot
-heroine is extremely strong, brave, saves those in need
well...it's getting a lil' too cliche already...I'll rather not give this a read, looking at the comments, too.

The story isn't as cliche as u might think, oh sure the heroine is abandoned,and suddenly an ikeman devil/ priest Bishie appears out of nowhere and 'takes her away' then stuff happens.

However cliche it may sound, I surprisingly found the manga good in a certain way.Unlike most heroines, in this one, she is sharp, badass and mysterious overall
And the devil/priest sama as well, very mysterious :x

For the art,
I liked how there is a unique blend between manhwa style and manga style. the characters are practically doll-like and oh so beautifully drawn <3

I really like to see how the chemistry between them develops, and would really like to see devil/ priest sama's feelings more

I dislike how the author emphasizes her characters' beauty over everything, using descriptions like "doll-like" and "handsome" as if wielding holy words. Otherwise I read her works, and this one might turn out to be enjoyable if you're bored. It's quite shallow and a bit unimaginative though, I'd stick to Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 if anything.

I was bored when I tried this manga out. I'm a sucker for pretty art, shoujo mangas that don't have stupid female characters and when the word "mysterious" is used in the description.

I've never read any manga from this author, but after reading 13 chapters, the story continued to be disappointing.
There's no real plot on the fantasy side of the story. Rather, a romance story between the 2 main characters with some conditions attached to them. The romance is cute but reading through the chapters, all I could think was that the author really likes drawing pretty pictures, especially scenes between the two main characters.

So, if you're expecting something in depth and stuff, like Trinity blood etc., don't expect much from this.

one giant cliche

Completely unoriginal (not to mention tacky) manga. Every element of the plot I've seen a million other times in a million other shoujo manga. There's:

girl is hated due to her red hair
girl is amazing fighter that can take down dozens of adult men barefisted
girl is abandoned in front of church as a baby, raised as orphan
girl is forced to mother the other orphans as the oldest and most responsible
girl is as pure as God's anus and knows no sin, chased by dirty evil men as a result
girl is in a contract with a devil (come on, now)
devil is exceedingly inhumanly unbelievably handsome
girl is exceedingly inhumanly unbelievably pretty
girl is in subservient relationship with the devil, completely at his whims
devil likes to tease girl in a playful sexual way
devil has dark serious deadly mysterious side
girl only has to call devil's name for him to whoosh in out of nowhere
devil's blood has magical healing powers, likes to give bloody kisses
etc. etc.
Tell me you haven't seen all of this before.
And this is only the SECOND CHAPTER.
It's not just the storyline that's uninspired either. The artwork is just a mishmash of styles (which would be forgivable if it didn't look like a complete mess) from other popular shoujo manga artists. Every panel will leave you wondering where you've seen that razor sharp chin before.

Conclusion: waste of time, memory, and trees; +1 because a shoujo manga actually managed to invoke anger from me

first, i wanna say that this story is goood!!! i love both of main characters. nora is so beautiful, and not kind of silly female lead who has a clumsy and annoying attitude. Furthermore, she is independen. And albrecht, how to say that, he is hooooot!! I really want if this kind of man can be exist in the real world. ^o^~ okey, that impossible! (.__.)

The second, i like this story line, after all. when the first time i've read kaji sensei's works, keishichou tokuhanka 007, i've fallen in love with her hardwork. Even though that story has finished, but the translation hasn't, sob sob T.T so, i couldn't help myself to look for another work from her. And then, i found this one. i really like the line of this story, their relationship, human non human relationship, a bit passion between them,,, i'm satisfied. 😀
