I thought this would be the typical shoujo with some stupid dumb heroine, and a cliched plot. But, it's not. Even though it seems typical, and the plot is typical, it's not. The characters are developed in a deeper way, then most shoujos. The romance is actually somewhat realistic and so is the story. The characters' motives and intentions play into their character. The mangaka is good at this, revealing character and building them into real people that the audience can relate to. The art isn't great or perfect. But, you get used to it and it seems good in its own way. Overall, I reccomend this especially to someone who is looking for romance but not a typical one.

I really enjoy this manga. The art might not me m&m-azing, but you should be more concerned about the story, not the art. I like the art, it's not over the top showy like a lot of shoujo. The characters are realistic and the story makes you want to continue reading.

So, many people talking about how great the anime is and that it ends in a cliffhanger. Read vol9 of the manga and on, the story isn't over... *glares at ch35*

it's unbelievable how great this manga is.

This is a great shoujo! Even though the plot may be typical, it's definitely not a sugary, simple shoujo. The characters are well developed (specially Yano, the most interesting of all) and I personally think it has a unique feel to it. It doesn't have much humor, it's mostly drama, but the little bits of comedy feel just right. I just love it!
It also has a pretty good anime adaptation, although they took out one of my fave scenes (when Yano grabs Nana-chan's neck... it still scares me)...

On the down side, the art does kinda suck. In the anime it's a little better, but not much.

but overall, this is a great shoujo. recommended to all shoujo/drama/angst lovers out there!

its a nice manga so far but i wish i could see the anime and i cant b/c my connection is slowers than a snails and i have to wait till like idk later anywho i would really reccomand it awesome although the art may seem crappy trust me its worth reading

Even though i've only watched the anime i really enjoyed it . It'll make you cry ;) well at least it made me cry : (

I watched the anime and read the manga and I love it so much!
The picture looks like its not worth it but trust me its really nice, but I seriously hated the ending!

I mean, I really really did like this a lot. In the beginning. When it got deeper, I was like. Ok. This is fine. Now... I just can't read it any more. It just seems to have dragged on for far too long. Originally, I gave it a 9. I've changed it to a 7. Until I see some things begin to get resolved, I won't be changing my rating.
