First a manga, then a anime' now a drama!

I must say that at first i wasn't really into the series as i only saw the covers in the bookstore. Than a little later someone recommend it to me and told me what it was about. Later, I get a Dvd preview of random ep which show the wallflower on it, and with some more info from a friend i decide to finally give it a shot, After watching the first ep with my sister, i fell in love it and decided to buy the anime and it was awesome. After that I bought the manga and i still love it even now. Then i just recently found out that they made a drama and i got very excited cause i don't normally watch dramas but for this series i was willing to give it a shot. Now after I just finish watching it, i have to put this in my top favorites manga series.

I love the lessons and morals of each chapter and ep that come with this story on how to be a lady. Characters are all different in there own little way and share a bond that can never be broken.

As for the artwork kellykei, this artwork is not bad, it just that some people would think they look like girls when there not, otherwise it very beautiful.

The girl in this series is different, not innonce and not stupid (in fact very smart and good at cooking) and likes horror stuff that makes her different and the 4 boys are trying to change in order to get their free rent by becoming a lady, which people complain about but I don't understand why. People hate stupid, wimpy heroines in story but now there's a different one and now people don't like it? Make up you mind!

As for the manga being to long... I love that it is cause i wanted the anime and drama to continue but didn't which I find very sad but at least the manga keeps it alive but I do hope that it ends beautifully.

Not only does this story has lessons but it pack full of comedy and fun that keeps you wanting more, especially with the main heroine who can't seem to get herself out of trouble. It also has romance that is very cute to watch as you read it. I wish this series made a movie or 2nd season of either the anime or drama. I must say that Sunako's personitly is quite similar to Sawako in Kimi ni todoke who also like horrors and is changing both inside and out.
I higly recommend this series to you for i fell in love with it. So don't judge a book by the cover or artwork cause it's all about the fun and plot.

i think its absolutely amazing!! it has everything that i love cute guys, strong female and great humor.. yeah its taking long but i disagree their relationship IS growing, shes grown almost accustomed to them and she cares for them alot... i give it a ten since its really good and i've never laughed so much!! i seriously was up all nyt laughing!! great! great!! cant wait! and im reading it over an over again and havent gotten bored yet.. 😛

It's a manga that can make me laugh and cheer me up when I feel down. It's a cute story where four guys want free rent and the only way they could get it is if they change this girl that loves the way she is. Sunako is awesome and is a big part on way I love this manga so much.

I used to be obsessed with this but the later chapters are such a letdown. I know the mangaka doesn't put any effort into at all. In comparison to a stellar manga like NANA, in which the mangaka adores her characters so much she spends A LOT of time making it perfect for readers, the Wallflower is garbage. Reading this mangaka's sidebars and extra pages, she is always complaining and moaning about how she'd rather go to a concert, and how she has to drag her friends to help out. Wtf? A real mangaka sucks it up for the readers. It's your profession. And it shouldn't be so hard, because you should love what you do, and the characters you draw.
The manga storyline itself isn't even a storyline. If you're looking for a GOOD story that has several little plots like the Wallflower, try Akuma to Dolce.

I love this manga! The main character is a horrifically adorable teenage girl obsessed with darkness. As 4 ridiculously cute bishounen try to turn her into a lady, we witness wacky events, desperate attempts and glimpses of love along the way.
I personally adore the art style. The chibi versions are so cute and the leads are drawn beautifully. It's not the best I've seen, but it's definitely good. Now, a lot of people think it's too dragged out, which is true. This manga seems extra long, for no purpose. But personally, after re-reading it good 3 or 4 times, I realize there are very few chapters I'd actually wish weren't there. I love the little stories so much! Each one is funny, cute, frustrating, and sweet and they always keep me entertained. I've been following this series for years and will keep on doing so. I hate when a good story ends, so I don't care if this went on another 100 chapters. (though a swifter ending would be greatly appreciated).

i absolutely love this manga. gorgeous guys and a female main character, plus it is hilarious wahta more could you want!!!!
what i think is most hilarious is the people complaining that it is slow....i didnt even notice cause its so funny i just want more and more, i am glad i haven't finished reading everything that is published cause i dont think i could be paitent enough to wait for more.
recommend to anyone who likes pretty boys, strong female leads and a good laugh!! 😀

agreed with FullmetalANDRA and GothicVampire, and to the rest of the people who thinks that way, i dont have time to read all the comments, but my opinion is that is doesnt matter if the love or relationship of Kyohei and Sunako is slow. so that way, the story wont end too soon... its a thrill to see what would happened to them next, and their love growing for each other. because if all they do is the usual lovey dove dove, and get inlove quick, or those kind of stuff, like always the girl love the guy first, wouldnt that be kind of boring, and if they are already an item, what else is there to look forward too, since the story might change, or the usual story of any love story, but with there unique way of love, its thrilling to see what would happened next.hehehe... at least there is something to look forward in every chapter. and its great that their love is slower..without realizing that they have feelings for each other. i really like Sunako's personality, especially that she doesnt fall inlove fast, or she doesnt even know what her feeling is... and im not sure of Japanese culture, but being an asian as well, its better if its slower =) thats why this is one of my favorite!!!! i am just hoping that kyohei love for Sunako, would be awaken first. that he loves Sunako.. ayyyy!!! how exciting... lol...and the first time i saw this, i couldnt help but laugh, ( it was december) and search it on youtube, then find the manga...=) my anime addiction has awoken for a deep slumber after 10 years of rest.. as well as db, dbz only!!(my childhood anime).. =) i hope chapter 97, would be release=(
ps. i understand how many people cant help but wait impatiently what would happened next...sighed!!! but i dont want this to end quickly, and me too, cant wait for the next book...

i rly h8 how it goes so dang slow but i like the comedy, i really hope that this manga doesnt get a quick ending, like in chang guy, because it is draggng on so damn long

I LOVE this Series xD The first volumes especially had me laughing like crazy! Definitely worth reading xD but um, later chapters (after chapters 50-60) Sunako is still stuck in a loop of "I am an ugly girl" and "I'm going to crawl in my little dark room" and there's zero developement in the romance department with Kyouhei; when they try to go anywhere near to a good chance to like eachother; she nose-bleeds her head off, at first it was funny, but later it gets annoying x___x I mean, you'd think she'd get used to the guys already by now (I'm at chapter 78+) but no, she still has ALL the problems from the start of the manga. I think the manga was at it's best up the chapter 50s (maybe 60s too) I hope Sunako starts showing signs of going forward! so she wouldn't be constantly a chibi drawing, but I'm afraid that's going to happen only at the end of the story. but over all, I love the first volumes, all worth reading, they're so much fun xDD loved them a lot.

This manga is harem? Never knew....

Anyway, it's a great comedy manga. Very original and creative, though the art can be confusing times to times.
