Description
A young boy is saved by a mysterious gunfighter who uses magical bullets. She is the greatest magician in the world but disappears shortly after saving him. I started reading this manga a couple months ago and dropped it when i didn't see any development, got really bored one day and started reading it again, some where around chapter 12 a brick flew out of my monitor and struck me in the face for dropping it the first time. It gets really good, the characters start developing nicely and it is now one of my favorite mangas.
it started off as generic action manga at first, pretty boring
but the story really only starts at chapter 12 onwards then it got amazing! there were many touching scenes that got me teary eyed as well
overall a great manga with action, romance and comedy

I really liked the first arc. Loved it. Adored it. I cried over it, even, it was that good.
...But the second arc...well, I made it to chapter 49. After that, I haven't been able to make myself read the new chapters.
It's certainly not a terrible manga, and the characters are cool and interesting. The setting and most of the plot are very good.
But the first arc was definitely much better than the continuation.
I still say read it, at least for the beginning. And it hasn't ended yet, and I haven't read the latest chapters, so maybe it gets infinitely better and I just don't know that.

i started reading this just the other day, and i have to say that it is really one of the best i have read, i think that after vol 4 the story is deep and meaninful and have started to really enjoy it
I started reading this because i was bored and I'm so glad i decided to keep reading because it gets really good later on. Now it's one of my favourites.
if you are on the 6 vol .. it is very interesting ... but 1-4 are more enjoy to read and humor but story will begin in 5 vol..
hey you can buy any bookstore .. i do buy kurohime under Viz media ... i dont see any differnce between fangroup and viz media

I'm not exactly sure what to make of this. The beginning is so horribly repetitive that it makes you sick, but then it becomes extremely emotional towards volume 5/6. So...
I suggest reading this if you enjoy shounens about love between two main characters, with lots of action. I'm on chapter 20 and am hooked on this manga, can't wait for more updates

This would get a 10 if the first arc was introduced better.first few chapters were incredibly repetitive, (probably owing to the full page drawings of kurohime doing some strange pose) i dropped it then picked it up again once when i was bored. once you get by those, and the story starts to pick up, it actually gets quite good.
Ok I had to admit when i first started reading this it didn't really appeal to me since none of the characters were interesting enough to grab my interest.
But and I'll reiterate what some of the other commentators have mentioned already- I urge any body who are interested in picking this up to read on through the early chapters to at least until ch.15 where they start to get into more character depth and figure the story out as a whole.You wont regret it.

Even though it's only the first arc, this manga is sooooo sad. I'm totally in love with this series and i suggest anyone to read it. Even if you dislike it you must finish the first arc first =) this totally rocks i can't say it enough. SOOOOOOOOOO SAD but it totally rocks
