Description
In the novel My Dorothea, Maristella la Belflair is written as the titular character’s “dear friend,” but is more like her doormat. Ultimately executed due to Dorothea's plot, she is given another chance at life after her death and is determined to survive this time. The problem is, she's caught the eye of the male lead, Xavier, who is supposed to end up with Dorothea! With a love triangle and Dorothea's schemes to deal with, can this former doormat step up to the challenges in her new life?

The original plot is worse than Mari. She is not the sharpest pencil in the box, but if I were ever transmigrated to that kind of place I would most probably make same faux pass and hold myself with the same inelegance.
I truly tried to read it, but just couldn't get past chapter 20.
The FL is so unhinged (not in a good way) that watching her barely functioning brain cells will make your own brain leave your body.

Or maybe I shouldn't be. I've been binge reading these romance "Isekai into vaguely 19th century European world as a villainess" for, like, 4 months now. I've literally created lists for Romance/Josei, Isekai FML and Reincarnation/Regression FML because I've read so, so, so, SO many. And man, I've read some stupidly infuriating FLs in those lists...that are immediately dumped into the Dropped list...but I can't remember any of them out doing this FL for sheer dullness.
FL is just grossly unsatisfying to read or care about. She's just so...flaccid. the art is not great so it REALLY emphasizes how badly written this FL is. Such a waste of time.😭

Just read the first few chapters. FL is stupid. I originally gave it 5 but the more i read the more i dont like the female lead. I do not like weak, ignorant and innocent characters, but I would have preferred that to a stupid FL 😞

she's acting so stupidly all the time. is that supposed to be funny? i had high hopes for this novel but it turned out to be such. 🙃
