Exciting, novel, and seems anime capable (judging from chapter 25). I feel like it is an adventure and the storytelling is capturing. I just wish there was more chapters out so I can binge read. 🙂
I don't know how the author will treat the character development but I think the series has potential and I am up for following it.
Edit:
After the first 15 chapters the storytelling becomes similar to Harry Potter. What I enjoy is just the MC's use of his AI chip.
Edit:2:
Read up to Ch 57
This MC is neutral (debatably evil) with his selfishness. Law of the jungle applies in the new world he finds himself in. He is not beyond using slaves (like summoned slaughterer) and killing if it's in his best interest. I think that the author could character progress and expand more (like Overlord) on how using the AI chip is altering his humanity... Like by making him more like a calculating killer. (Or was he just always like a cost benefits analysis person?) I feel that just means the character development is not very fleshed out in this light novel (-1)
Also what is unique with this story is the level of sorcery, transmogrifying, and magic is knee deep. There are plenty of times you may feel disgusted by or be invested somehow in the descriptions...
Edit3: better than many of the other reincarnation novels out there. I resonate with the MC's personality but can also be intrigued by his almost over reliance on his AI chip. I would give it a 10/10 if they showed more character development. I keep coming back for more though
Edit4:
Chapter 243
MC doesn't have much romance nor comedy in this story, it is serious cultivation and knowledge sponging from his surroundings. The strong survive the weak die is standard. Expect to read gory deaths or even sometimes question the MC's ruthlessness. He uses his AI heaven-defying gift to aid him in cultivation. I wish that the author dwelled deeper on the emotions of the character. Adding exclamations to everything in translation doesn't really convey the exact emotions. Reactions too like from Against the Gods would be nice.
Overall I think it is an engaging writing style. Likewise, the descriptions are not filler like SOME novels out there in the same category. I wish the characters were fleshed out more. 7/10
