Description

Stop spewing nonsense

It’s annoying when people says that a work is bad because there are unrealistic things on in it but they don’t know shit.First the reasons it took her so many lives to break free from her family is probably because of something called “battered woman syndrome” which develops in cases of domestic abuse be it physical or emotional abuse. You can see those symptoms in some flashbacks where a maid or her family would yell at her or something along those line and she would think it’s was all her fault even though she did nothing wrong. Second she DID try to escape her family in her second life but ended up dying and she DID KILL THEM IN HER 7TH LIFE. And third we don’t know a single about what she did or didn’t do through out her 4th and 7th life so you have no idea whether or not she tried going against her family. If you are not liking the book then just drop it and stop spewing no sense

Ermmmm. The first season was badass, it was fucking amazing. FL was a baddie who got proper revenge on those who wronged her, and she had the ML at her feet whipped for her, and they were in general so romantic. The later seasons? A whole dumpster fire. ASS. Somewhere around the middle of season 2 it was like this story jumped off a cliff thinking that it would be able to fly. And then remained in the air while still quickly approaching imminent death. I have absolutely no idea what has actually been happening in the last final chapters, but it all feels so…irrelevant if you’re just going to do an

asspull back in time scenario.

(Time of writing: Completed comic, read 125 out of 125 chapters)
If you're going in blind and just want an advice without any context: Honestly this use every clichés of the revenge story genre ever and it's only redeeming quality, the characters, genuinely grow to be unlikable with time. To the point that honestly I don't think Hillis or the ML deserved an happy ending either. Don't waste your time, despite the first season seeming promising.
If you want details, then strap on.
Art: 6/10, the first artist had a better understanding of how to set the mood with design, poses and composition, which gave a better and more poetic impression that fit Hillis' roses. The new one is mid.
Story: 2/10 CLICHÉ CLICHÉ CLICHÉ. Every Over used tropes of the genre EVER, I wish I was kidding. From the guy who was so sure the fl was infatuated with him and eventually betrayed her in a past life but get obsessed once she starts being cold and hating him, to the fl being hated by her family for making her mom die during childbirth.
The justification for any actions of the family or the villains are just... not good..? Especially the family hating Hillis that intensely. They give another explanation later at the end but it feels more like a throwaway justification. To be honest, most character's feelings for each other seem unjustified to begin with.
Characters: 1/10. Wow. You would think in a tragedy they would at least make you feel sad for the protagonists but both the fl and ml grow to be GENUINELY extremely unlikable. They get worse and worse, selfish, obsessive, murderous. They genuinely never get any setback for their destructive actions, or remorses. And like, to a degree I get Hillis since she got very broken mentally from the time loops, but the ml...? He slowly become one sidedly obsessive over her, not caring about anything else ever. It's not even in a good written or interesting "Yandere" way.
At one point you just start to feel bad for anyone around the two, even the antagonists. I wish it was a "there's no good people" type of story but it explicitly state that neither of them did anything wrong in the story. Like sure Hillis... keep acting like you don't have hella innocent blood on your hands too.
Misc: Aesthetic: 8/10 for the first season. I really like how they nailed the atmosphere and behaviour of the fl being like a delicate rose but with sharp thorns.
Romance: 2/10. Hillis had reasons to like the guy but the ml had no reason to be THAT obsessed.
Also f*ck the King actually.
In short: If you read the first season and thought it was good... Then don't read the rest.

Can't get used to the new art

I fell in love with the previous artist who did the story justice. The new art is very awkward in angles and pacing of sequences. I love the story, but this new artist is making DNF this webtoon.

The art is brilliant, the story is well paced and the characters are, well realistic for a reincarnation manwha, but their relationships with eachother are interesting and especially the FL, she's so fricking cool. She's, in my opinion, a very realistic "cold hearted" character because she has actuall emotionfilled thoughts regardless of whether she expresses them, she's also intelligent and seems to have learnt lessons from her past life rather than just the usual "tHis peRSoN iS infLueNtiAL iN tHe fUturE sO i mUst beFriEnD tHEm" yk.

A lot of people are mad at the younger sister, Gabrielle. I agree she's a brat, but she's just a kid. Usually in manwhas like this, the FL reacts hatefully towards the spoilt kid and treats them like trash more so than the people who raised her. But oml- Hilise treats her brother and father like trash as she should be doing because they're the issues, not really the child. And she ignores the child for the most part and treats her as any normal person would a brat. It sounds very simple but I loved it so much. Her entire character is amazing because the author paces it so that we see her stronger self, but then there's flashbacks to her past "weaker" self, we see how drastic her change is as we meet new characters that manipulated her in the past.

I'm on ep 17, and although it's obvious who the ML is, there's no signs of romance yet- as in neither of them have been like "dAmn they're hot so they must be iNteREstiNg",

any interest the ML has is based on when he had a dream of her murdering everyone in a past life lol.

Overall, 10/10 art, story and characters.
For reference maybe- another one of my favourites is Death is the Only Ending for a Villainess.

It started full force with a very interesting story... and then ended up against a wall of flashbacks, races to finish the story and infinite setting jumps.

Chapters: 125.
That's 125 chapters! How is it possible that some parts put me to sleep and others were so rushed that I had to read the chapters twice to understand where we were?

Story:
What about the story... a FL who after dying 7 times finally decided to show her determination and give back what she received.

Drawings/Graphics:
Honestly I'm conflicted...in some cases the drawings were spectacular, in others very botched. Probably because it's the first work for both artists, but I admit that I've seen better.

Final Reflection:
Would I recommend this manhwa? Maybe 🤔.
Would I read it again? No ❌.

Abused FL has rewarding payback on those who wronged her and searches for a way to stop repeating her life over and over.

The FL is top tier: she's grown in character in a way that can make sense due to her past and current 7th life even though she's kind of slow to the curb growth wise in some aspects. She's experienced and become numb to a lot of things and turned into a powerful and all around aloof badass. The supporting cast is alright and the art is very nice. I don't care much for the romance in this manhwa, not because there's anything wrong with it but because I am far more intrigued by the main plot.
