Sunyoung, Nana, and Sara were all women betrayed by the same man, Junseo, and now they come together to get revenge.
This story touches upon many important topics - one of them being cheating. Sunyoung is in a relationship with Junseo, who already has a wife, except she doesn't know this so when it's revealed she's called a homewrecker. However, she's a victim.
Nana is in the same place as Sunyoung. She's called a homewrecker for being in a relationship with Junseo even though she never knew that he was married. She, too, is a victim.
Sara, on the other hand, is the wife. She is Junseo's wife. When people find out that her husband has been messing around with other women, Sara is blamed for not "keeping him in control." However that isn't her job. She is also a victim.
All three of these have one thing in common- The fact that society decided to put the blame on the women while it was the man's fault.
I also love how the author gave the characters development, even some of the side characters. And I guarantee you that you will not be disappointed with the ending. Junseo got what he deserved and the girls got their revenge.
While there is a romance tag, there's very little romance. At the end of the story, the main girls end up being best friends but aren't in any romantical relationships of their own. Unless you count Yoon who was still pestering Sunyoung because he had a crush on her but then again Sunyoung had no interest towards him haha.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this story if you want something that shows realism and problems that people face in the real world.
This work definitely depicted sexism in all it's facettes. It doesn't just show the blatant systematic discrimination of women in all kinds of fields, but also the paternalistic motives behind well-meant deeds by men AND women, women can have internalized sexism too. I paticularly liked that the revenge itself was not majorly in the foreground, and instead focused on the inidividual women coming to terms with their position in society. It does get heavily revengeful and repititive at the end, hence I'll "only" give it a 9.
All in all this is one of the best stories I've read about feminism/sexism, without the women being obnoxiously against all kinds of men or only out for revenge, because that's what feminism is truly about.
Don't add 原作 & 作画 to author & artist's associated names!!
It's not their names nor their SNS. Don't edit if you don't know please 😲 🙏
A cathartic read of watching a guy be messed up by his three ex's and cannot fathom why. It's fun at first but not particularly special. I couldn't bring myself to finish it.
Ugh these girl bosses ATEEE. THEY DEVOURED THEIR REVENGE.
I really liked how they addressed women’s issues and showed girls supporting girls.
On another note, What a great ending 💕 I’m so glad that they weren’t paired up with men for the finale. At the same time i’m glad the author implies that love just might happen for them someday but its not everything 💖
