The beginning wasn't too bad. It was actually funny and kinda interesting with good pacing though by vol 3, it started to drag endlessly and the story started to lose its' direction. However, somwhere around vol 5 to 6, the pacing picks up again and the story actually develops into a rather matured mesh of mythology and fairy tale. It's too bad the story and plot wasn't all that consistent or I'd have given it an 8 or even 9. Altogether, it's a fun read if you're looking for something to pass the time.

the drawing is beautiful! love it... the story is very good, but sometimes parts of the story is a little boring. though the prince is very funny, he looks like a girl, because of his long hair. that's a pitty.
but the drawings makes everything ok!! ^_^

The only complaint I have is the love interest choice
there really isn't that much of a romance between the two.

Be prepared to face a fairytale like story. And try to ignore world wide know magical references(sleeping beauty, Medusa etc.). Because this story is not bad. It's originality would be greater without those references, but that's only my opinion.
Despite that I think this is readable. Author presents us with a mystical kingdom, a damsel in distress(constantly), and a prince on a white unicorn, a witch, a curse etc... It's not so bad to read something different from time to time, and it's unique enough to be interested.

btw. Misty-Rains character reminded me of someone- That orphan girl who dreamed of becoming a lady... don't know why exactly.

This is not an exciting story but is good, that is if you are into fantasy. If like me you have to be in the mood then save it for when you are because it's 7 volumes of fairy tales.

Well, in general, I liked the story. At the beginning I found it very interesting and addictive. But after a while, i began to loose interest in the characters. I thought that there was something missing, though I'm not sure I can put my finger on it. Maybe it was the tempo, that was a little too slow. Or maybe the characters were lost a little, kind of loosing their bright colors after manipulating them enough. I don't know. But I guess I fell a little incomplete finishing this series...
I still think it was good overall, but I cannot get myself to give it more than a 7. Am I too harsh?

The start was great but wish the human world story part was better and it drag on. The ending was alright, it would be nice to see if they had children in the end X3. The artwork was wonderful. I'm looking forward to read the author other work.

The best thing about this book was the beautiful artwork without a doubt! As far as the rest of the story it was alright but a bit boring, cheesy, and it tended to drag on with uselessness. It's more fantasy and less romance, and I felt like it built up 7 volumes just to have this short crappy ending. Unfortunately there was no real romantic development between Misty and Sirus; it was a one-sided love if anything. But, if you're looking for a non-romantic, comedic, fantasy, with amazingly gorgeous artwork, then this is for you!
