this series humor was amusing at first with the character chemistry being the same most of the time, it was sort of amusing at first but then it gets boring really quickly when read it chapter by chapter in a daily rate. And the themes about loving and sharing bonds is so cringeworthy that this is the solution to win battles in the best way possible due to the series lore, training will never be as good as love and bonds for sekirei not in this series and it feels so blatant that i can't help but cringe. My favorite character is kazehana and even then she doesn't appear much but I still enjoy that alcoholic girl as she makes a little more enjoyable for me to read.

I read this manga series. Out of all of the harem series I've ever seen in my life, Sekirei is by far the best. The bond between Minato Sahashi and his Sekirei harem is really strong.

It's pretty good.... If you like harems... action... comedy... a bit of drama.
I randomly picked this up and honestly the characters are likable. The comedy is funny, The ecchiness is surprisingly not bad compared to most series. The plots different..instead of most stories of a "goal" that starts from the beginning, the plot is treated like arcs, aka, new story every so often (but it adds to continuity). The fights are fun to go through. Completely re-readable. The beginning may take a bit, but things do get interesting.
Bottom line... if you're looking for a good harem with a bit of action and comedy... you'll like this.

This manga is all over the place. Jumping from plot point to plot point, the story can be rather confusing to follow. The manga even acknowledges how random and unexplainable it is within a chapter. A redeeming feature would be the overall likeable cast of characters. Although they are extremely cliche with minor character development, they add a fun dynamic to the story. The sekirei each have different personalities that create interesting scenarios through their interactions. As with every harem manga, I question why of all the guys in the world a plain loser is chosen to be popular. The main character is pretty predictable and your usual harem protagonist, unfortunately. The drawing is the strongest point in this manga. Although the proportions of the Sekirei's bodies are just unrealistic, the drawings are overall aesthetically pleasing and is able to convey a range of emotions.

For starters, this is a T&A manga all the way. The lead couldn't even get into college but yet every girl falls head over heels even though he's a complete dumb ass. For the most part, it's a pretty dumb manga, however, I like it anyway. The chapters are just too short and don't come out very often. I would like to see how the story ends. If your thinking about reading this, I would wait till it's finished then you can read the whole thing in a day.

Absolutely amazing. All the characters are funny and the ecchi is exceptional. The plot is to die for. It had me in tears at points. Amazing all around 🙂

ecchi is fine by me but the manga makes you feel like the story and characters are just contrivences to fulfill the mangakas juvenile dream of the perfect ditzy woman(s). that may be extreme-but the manga realy does make you question wether theres actualy a story that happens to have bouncing girls or if its just bouncing girls with a story sqeezed in.

Let me make this clear, there's a /TON/ of ecchi in this manga/anime. So for those who cannot stand such stuff, this manga is not for you.

But if you feel that you are able to just overlook at little(somewhat?) problem, then I would definitely reccomend this manga, for it's strong storyline if nothing else. I would expect many females to get put off by the load of boobs that you'll see in the first couple of chapters, but if you manage to get past all of that, then this manga has a load of really great fighting scenes and enough drama and comedy in it to keep you wanting for more. =D

I find the story line interesting in many aspects since it shows the different kinds of sekirei types as well as the personalities of the ashikabi's and their sekirei's. .it also shws us who truly cares about their sekirei and who's only going for the power that one can obtain at the end of this plan.
