The ML is "interested" in FL the biggest plot hole and dumb development all the way.
ML just listens to her and like a dog begs every time for her to sing while giving away all his secret like a open lock clearly author did not have any sense in char dev.
The FL being depressed had a boyfriend from the start and lol loved him too before getting dumbed and goes into the arms of any dude she sees it's so inconsistent and poor writing.
Dropped after 10 chapters.

As of the first season, i'm a little meh about it. I had high hopes, seeing how people were giving it high praise. However a lot of areas were lacking for me to give it anything more than a 7

Pros:
- Lovely art style
- Likable characters
- Interesting premise

Cons
- story inconsistencies (how the FMC would call out the MMC's name, when she was not supposed to know who he was)
- romance is a little rushed for my liking
- confusing panels
- unexplainable plot armor

Season two just feels like a rehash of season one. We only really changed the setting a bit and the characters are more familiar with each other.

Art, Characters, Plot, Art, Dialogue,Pacing DID I MENTION THE ART? It's so unique and visually pleasing, I remember screenshotting panels and having them as my wallpaper years ago, it gets even better as the story progresses.

been almost 6 years since i first read this webtoon and i was still in highschool that time lol this is one of the best romance webtoons for me,, not overreacting but when i finished this on my first read back then i cried so much that it made me think abt it for like 3 days straight only to read it again after a month or so,, idk why maybe bc i was really attached and in love with the unique plot (twist) and characters.

goeun is not your typical female lead, in addition, her character development was what i loved the most in this webtoon! also, jack is so handsome, he was the jerk type at first but later on you'd see how cute he really is!

idk why this is so underrated but yall better believe me and those who said on their reviews how good this is and that THIS.IS.A.MUST.READ!

American Ghost Jack is a gothic horror romance series. Its really somewhat different than what i expected. Its a the story about a dead man named jack who owns a mansion. Once a month 5 people team join and they have to survive the creepy stuff. In the mansion. thats what S1 is about anyway. Now I didn't really like the first half of S1. There was nice imagery there wasn't anything actually scary. The scariest thing was Sebastian the butler. When i first finished part 1 of S1 (S1 is split into 2 parts). i wasn't all that impressed. It had its moments but overall it wasn't really anything unqiue. However S2 when the romance starts blooming between our FMC and MMC then this series genuinely improves all around. Now i loved the romance between MMC and FMC. i didn't like how they begun to fell in love but when they did and they fell deeper and deeper for each other i really liked. I liked how the dynamic was equal. They hated each other but had a crush with each other. He was kinda of a dick. She was kinda lifeless and they both softened because of that and i really enjoyed that. In part 2 as well the author realized that the scariest thing is the Butler and uses him to the series full potential. S2 (or part 3) is really just more of part 2 but in a different setting. Or a similar setting. I didn't like that the author basically reused the same plot though. Overall i think the romance was solid, the characters were likeable. and Sebastian definitely gave the right amount of creeps. Tied in with the author's art you got a very fun horror romance gothic series.

A+ horror in the beginning, but that gets nearly forgotten towards the end as romance becomes the main focus. If you're looking for solid horror, this isn't for you.

Hooray for a headstrong female lead. Art is great. Story has a somewhat cliché ending, but it's a happy one nonetheless. Interesting all the way through to have kept me hooked the entire time, but thinking back there are probably plot points that make you go hmmmm. The suspense will keep you and it's an enjoyable read, so I'm not complaining about anything.

Loved it so much i pulled an all nighter to read it in one night because i couldnt put it down to sleep halfway. Ive been searching for a good horror manga for years and i finally found a manhwa that had a scary vibe to it. Although that did disappear after a while for me because of reveals throughout the story. But the romance aspect of it? It was great i just wanted them to get married and have kids and all the rest. But yh i cried at the end. Idk whether it was because the ending was so heartbreaking or the fact that the manhwa was finished.

Let me just say, this manhwa is good and I don't really think that I could somehow convince you more than the other reviews can.

On the other hand, if you want a sneak peak of what's in store, they actually made a "moving toon"/ "moving animation" of this manhwa that you can try the 3 episode test with to see if it's your cup of tea. Of course, they glossed over some details since they crammed 64 chapters worth of stuff into 20 ~6 minute episodes.

I'm not sure how strict they are with posting links here but search for "American Ghost Jack eng sub episode 1" to find it subbed, and if you read the manhwa the author will tell you the website where all the raws of the episodes are posted . Please believe me when I say that it's really cool to hear their voices!

I can't man, I can't handle the feels. It's such a heart breaking story. This manga reminds us of how it feels to love and the complications that come with it.

For, those who can still remember their first love, this is for you. I sincerely wish everyone to partake in this manga.

Right now my favourite story The art is very beautiful and I am in love with the characters! Don't get fooled - at the start, the art may not be the most jaw-dropping but I promise - it gets way better! The love story between Go Eun and Jack is soooo cute, it's unbelievable... Even though it seems like the story is focused on ghosts and creepy shit at the start, it's way more than that! If you have time, you should definitely give this a try!
And if you decide to read it, definitely read it on tapastic - that way you'll get the original format (a long stripe) and the author also earns money through it!
