The first act(yota) is the best for me when its only between yota moemi and ai,, you can see how much yota love AI... But after kouhai and childhoodfriend came its feels like complicated and everything is misunderstanding. After all I still like it.

3 story arcs and value

The manga starts off really interesting and continues to get better and better with you screaming at the screen when Yota (first arc) does something stupid but it does get better and better till the first arc ending at volume 13 which just doesn't satisfy me. There is a conclusion to every arc and it is a happy end but its so short. It seems like it was rushed but you should read the manga because it is a very nice romance manga with lots of highs that will leave you on your toes through out the entire manga. So my only warning is if your the type that is ok with happy ending and them being short then this is a gem of the romance genre.

I read this manga when i was 14, it was when i started higschool and didn't know anything about love so it was very especial, the very first romantic manga in my hands.
Now with 28 years, experience, and lots of manga background i bet it wouldn't be the same, also i'll never forget the ending... so yes, i'll probably never read this again just so i don't defile my teen romance manga ahahaha.

The very end was good, and the first half was amazing..... inbetween those will most likely make you feel loathing, and even utter hate for the worthless piece of $#!% that is the mc. Regardless I would still probably consider it above average, and, with exception to most of the second half, almost perfect.

If you have the time to read a 15-volume manga, this one is an average read. The story isn't especially well laid out, but the characters and their emotions draw you in until the end. I kept hoping for more, though. Maybe I expected too much. The ending is very satisfacting though.

altough this manga is considered "old",but the story itself,has awesome storyline and great art,maybe it would be difficult to find comparison for this manga nowadays,masterpiece,it has to be said.I happen know katsura masakazu from I''s that i read before,surprsingly,unexpectedly denei shoujo is far more better from aizu,it has to be perfect ten even eleven i said,but the fact that just how deppressing this manga for me,i give 9.9 for this manga,overall this manga should be "must read" manga for those who loves romance story.i bet some romance shounen manga author may have denei shoujo for their guidance,like seo or kei

As the poster below said, the female characters are portrayed as down right dumb and seem unable to live without men.

On the positive side, the emotions portrayed are very realistic and Katsura really knows what goes on in a person's mind when they are faced with different situations.

As someone else said, this manga actually DEPRESSING. Not a light-hearted magical girl love affair.

Sexy girls in an unfairly plotted drama

What the hell is wrong with the main characters..I don't know, many romance shounen often go with this kind of characterization: annoyingly indecisive and immature, self-centered male protagonist and some beautiful and sexy yet ridiculously personified female protagonists. Well, at first I thought it's interesting, but then it was getting lame and depressing, I would jump over few chapters to fast-forward the story or else I'd get dragged on (except, of course, when I found some nice fan services).

Great Manga

I loved this manga. To be honest, I was a bit put off by the premise, since it sounded like it would become a stereotypical and boring ecchi title.

I was completely wrong.

The story starts out as a romantic comedy, but transforms into a drama about three volumes in. I tend to take on the emotions of the main characters in things that I read/watch, so I felt extremely depressed, sad, and frustrated for the rest of the series. It had a very serious effect on my emotions, which is a good thing... it was very effective. It is very well written, and, while the main characters' actions can become frustrating, they are all justified. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Be prepared to have a lighthearted manga on hand for reading once you finish this if you are as susceptible to having your emotions played with as I am. Otherwise, you will feel sad and empty at the end, even though this series does have a happy ending.

In any case, read it. Make your own judgment. And, yes, there are a lot of exposed breast and panty shots in this series. Please, learn to look past them if you are considering skipping this series due to that. You will find something amazing if you do...

I decided to read thisbecause I love Katsura's Zetman and I"s.. It was a really good concept however there were key problems.

It dragged on an was rather depressing the whole time
Youta loved to many girls that it really made him look like some indecisive ass and it tones down the strength of his love.
It didn't give enough of the romance between him and (the person he ends up with at the end).. it kinda just cuts short right after he achieves her.

However I will say that concept was really good and the emotions were extremely heartfelt, unfortunately so much so that I was really depressed while reading the second half.

Video Girl Len, or the EXTRA special oneshot at the end were both exceedingly better even though simple.. If Katsura had just focused more on the relationship less on the heart breaks and got more to the point, this would have been an excellent story.
