Likable female lead..
Great story...
Inspiring ending..
But short read...
Wished the author had fleshed out more on certain part because it is jumping from one scene to another scene so you have to use your own imagination..
I suggest to read another work from the author first which portray the same theme..LIFE
Nevertheless it is a good read because female lead owned it..

I thought the overall message was good; the art was fine too. But this is exactly how Life went, with the victimzed girl, the whole school against her, cutting her hair for a fresh start...And I honestly am not someone who really knows the realities of bullying but this felt contrived and exagerated. The "antagonists" were completely demonized and rather than seeing the severity and emphasis on the bullying what I saw was a really naïve view of the situation.

As I said though, the overall message was good and clear. The author, as usual is skilled at creating hateable antagonists. I'm a little frustrated to see that I had little sympathy for the victim, and the series did little to provoke some kind of emotional reaction from me. This contradicts what a lot of the other reviews say...

This manga nearly made me cry, and I DON'T ever cry at manga. I actually really liked the way it ended, sort of open-ended, because it gives the reader the chance to imagine their own story of what happened to her after that. I like to think she was successful. This was a really inspiring manga, and although I have never been bullied, I know how vulnerable it can make somebody feel to have their body touched in that way, even with clothes on, and I can't imagine how it would make me feel to be bullied like she was. I loved how she just got so much stronger by the end, and how she made up with her mother. There was so much character development in such a short story, it just makes me realize how good these mangaka can get. This, to me, even compared with short story by Stephen King (but with a happier ending) in the level of brutal honesty about how she was bullied. Really great manga.

I was very impressed that the bullying the main character faces is actually pretty brutal and not glossed over. Further, that she is very affected by it -- skipping school , crying, puking, abusing meds, etc. That there's no victim blaming -- most the blame is placed squarely on the shoulders of the boyfriend and the class. Most significantly, that she overcomes her trauma by her own strength, not by being saved by someone else. I believe all of this is a very important message.

But... it's not emotionally compelling. It's insultingly cheesy, and for all its efforts to depict real bullying, it doesn't know how to build up the story nor to create any atmosphere. Boring, unsatisfying, and a waste of time.

Uwah! I cried and cried! And it wasn't because it was tragic--it was how she suffered deeply, but remembered her strength as she grew and overcame her trials. I was touched deeply. The relationship between the mother and daughter in particular....

This manga is beyond anything I can say. I was feeling so down from just life, especially my relationship with my mother, and this manga made me feel so much better. I feel like a can breathe deeply again. Now read twice, and will be read so many more times in the future.

Please, please read it. Favourite manga of all time.

Definitely conveyed a lot within one dense volume. I love the focus on the manga, as unlike most shoujo manga where the people who bully feel remorse, or that the main girl character is naive and innocent and eventually gets along with everyone, this girl is very strong, and the manga conveys much of her emotion and distress when faced with extreme bullying. Btw, the guy is a complete arse, and I really wished that her revenge included him at the end. I would have loved seeing his stupid face feel bad.

i was very impressed at the depth of the emotions that could be packed into a 3 chapter manga. the bullying was really extreme but i liked the absurdity of it, but for me the best part was that she didn't let them get away with it, she got the ultimate revenge and i cant help but laugh thinking THEY GOT OWNED

Wow. So much power packed in 3 measly chapters, and beautifully done. It lifted my spirits as I was feeling down. What a great read.
Character growth went a long way. I'm sad it's over when it feels like the heroine's adventures have simply just begun. After only 3 chapters, I'm more attached to this character than ever, and it's already ended

but I'm so glad I read it ^_________^
