Rather Boring

I'm not sure if it's due to the translation or writing itself but I found this novel rather dry and boring.

On the surface the translation seems ok, but due to way the sentences are written or the style of the writing it's just not very compelling.

It doesn't suffer from the overuse of pinyin like some other ppl claim, but rather suffer from too much overuse of passive voice. It also tends to write in a long-winded manner rather than a concise and dynamic writing style.

Read through a random chapter of this, then compare it to say... a chapter of "King's Avatar", then you'll know what I'm talking about. Even if you don't understand the plot you can easily tell which one is more fun to read.

nothing unique, no spice at all

just like someone say, this novel have too many filler information which nothing important at all.

nothing unique about this novel, like this :

cultivitation? dont bother about it.. this novel really bland and author did not even explain any good things about how he cultivitate
skill learning? .....i will score this novel 1/10 on this things... really the author make the story totaly boring on skill learning with the mysterious space as cheating machine.

the author did not explain how him train his skill even in mysterious space..it just like the main character just doing copy paste information to learn skill without any progress that is worth to see.

romance? .... nothing to see, i already read until 900+ and not yet i see romance...even if there are romance its too late.. NOVEL SHOULD BE INTERESTING FROM START NOT AT LATE CHAPTER..
battle? ... you would see me rating high rate on "perfect world novel" since the battle really detailed and unique.. but on this novel?.. yeah so many battle but what?.. nothing detailed and nothing unique, IT JUST LIKE FILLER INFORMATION FOR MAIN CHARACTER TO JUST KILL THEM...... LIKE REALLY? .. .. what i FEEL from every battle on this novel was almost like "street fight" which is nothing important at all..( ITS ALMOST FEEL LIKE COPY PASTE BATTLE SIMULATION ON EVERY SINGLE FIGHT)

the author seems too obsessed with "mysterious space" in this novel..seriously ITS REALLY BORING..with mysterious space, the author did not describe how the main character progress at all

then what is inside the story.... .just like someone say "many filler information" that is unimportant on every single chapter at this novel..

Note: already read until chapter 950+

extra : this novel seems like a food without any spice at all.... its doesnt have any taste

another extra : sory but i must say this ...this novel author writing concept almost similar to another author "i eat tomatoes".... BUT "i eat tomatoes" doing a good job on skill description, cultivitation, good battle and detailed battle even if at his novel almost dont have romance at all,

MEANWHILE this novel author doing nothing good at all at that aspect ..this novel dont have any strong point at all

CONCLUSION : this novel focused on "Battle story" BUT this novel lacking everything that was needed to make a good battle story.. this novel is missing many important part like : cultivitation, skill learning, detailed battle, unique skill, and etc. .... all of that important things replaced by " mysterious space as cheating machine"... LOL

If you like filler information that will be completely irrelevant in the story after, you will love this novel.
If not, i suggest you just skip this novel, it doesn't bring anything out of the ordinary that you would not have seen in another Xianxia novel already.

If you're new to Xianxia novel, go read some of the better Xianxia novel out there.
Coiling Dragon, Martial God Asura, I shall seal the heaven, Against the god etc.

i liked how the mc op'ed through the story because i never cared much for authors who make there mc's go through unrelenting suffering and adversity for the sake of appeasing there publisher's. i have just read through the first 185 chapters and i am flabbergasted how there is 3000+ chapters and it is still ongoing.

I am looking forward to the rest of story.

while this is another story of weak and untalented mc finding holy book of cheatbook and trolling, i still give it a 6 rating. because the author did a decent job on world building and the plot have some depth.

The first 100 ish chapters are worth reading but around there its perfect to drop it. Writer clearly stole/was inspired a lot from other works. But after around 100 chapters when he has to start being original/stand on his own legs, he clearly fails. There are better stuff to read then this, don't bother is my final verdict.

The author uses a transportation w/e thing to move a MODERN age uni student. The is barely any reference to where he came from, what he brings with him to this oh so bold new world (I don't mean material things). What is the point in him being a university student, the mc is basically a blank slate (in a bad way). Would have been better if the author just used a native born mc rather than transportation theme when it offers nothing to the story. There are some good parts but mostly just meh, lots of sneering. I think there was a chapter where the mc sneered, sneered, sneered and for safe measure twelve more times. Incredibly arrogant mc but that always comes with these type of novels. The mc doesn't really have much of a personality, so I felt the interactions with other characters to be a boring, not all that flushed out. Mostly for those with a wish fulfillment hardon where in a different world they could be like the mc, be so badass, so handsome, so awesome, so winner, not so much loser. This is not insulting the audience but the people with the most love for this novel are those types. After all this is a story of a young man from our world who is basically a blank page for those who wish they could step into those martial god shoes.

For those that say it's boring, 3000+ Chapters kind of disagree. If you have read less than 30 chapters then you have not even read 1%. If you compared that to a regular novel that's like reading 4 pages on the intro and then stopping saying its boring. It really does start very slow but 50 chapters in the pace picks up pretty quick. If you get past the slow start it gets pretty amazing. Fairly ruthless MC that doesn't take any BS that follows the motto of "put out the fire before it starts" with his enemies. I would recommend this to anyone who likes MGA, but without love interest.
