Description

Good start, then boring

After 2 very confusing chapters, the story was off to a good start, but it's not as interesting anymore (and it's only been 30ch).

I think the main attraction of this one is the FL, an aloof and apathetic character that has a stoic appearance but isn't made of stone either, this is reflected for example in her doubts, in her inner fights, whether she should hate or love her innocent little sister, whether she should take revenge on those who slanted her, and so on. She's a believable and as important, an interesting character.
The ML starts off interesting too, yet as it always happens in shallow stories 5 chapters later he has already fallen, he goes from being a man to being an insecure adolescent. Same for Duke douche, didn't pay her any mind for 10 years and suddenly he can't stop thinking about her... he was defined by a man who follows only what's logical and reasonable yet this is not what's shown. after just a few chapters.
Peoples essence doesn't change in a matter of days (leaving aside extreme experiences), the FL is interesting among other things because it took 10 years for her to change and she's still changing, the ML and 2nd M? pancakes.

But the part seeped the interest from me is how the story progresses after they leave

After getting married, they leave for the emperor's country but the ML has no better idea than to take Duke douche along. What for? not explained, but really, other than to persist with douche as a 2nd ML and maintain the status quo, I see no reason (it even seams that they took the little sister along). I'm sure the author will give some crap explanation like "so the ML can put douche in his place" but it'll most likely be a crap reason

The Story and The Beautiful Art

The story is really good! This is very different from the others like the manhwa next door whose storyline is rambling, this is very refreshing and sad too because it really tells the MC's background even more First, then she will start her war later in another kingdom.
She does not depend on anyone, especially her rascal family, emperor, aristocrats, and his ex-fiancé. Her ex-fiancé just regrets When knowing her background life, but I will never agree with what he has done in the last 10 years, he really doesn't care about the MC (her).
Luckily the male lead Joachim came to save the life of this very tough woman and start a new chapter of life to fight the male lead mother. I think the two of them will fall in love in a really romantic way later, because the MC who never received love will make this story even more interesting in the future.

The art is really beautifull, Looks simple and elegant, different from other manhwa, I think another manhwa is looks childish

Her now ex-fiancé acted like a complete douche to FL for no reason. Going as far as saying, “I don’t want to see your face. You’re disgusting to look at.” Hands her divorce papers which she doesn’t sign. But when she finally has enough, signs the papers and leaves the bastard, he’s shocked.... Boy what did you expect?! NOW you’re regretting how you treated her??

I honestly snorted when I got to that part lol but overall the story isn’t bad. It’s nothing new in the genre but I like where the FL and her new fiancé are headed. Where the relationship starts off with respect and then gradually turns to love. Or at least that’s what I’m expecting to happen. I’m only at chapter 12.

feb 2023: Prologue hooked me so I decided to check it out and season 1 came out good. I'll just read more for now, it's been a bit chill in the recent chaps, but I still like the story and art overall.

apr 2024: hmmm not that satisfied with the ending. wish we could've seen more after that juncture. but i guess it's okay since the story kinda went downhill after season 2 (?)

waste of my time.

I dont understand some people glowing 10 10 10 reviews..it was basically one sided love from ml to fl til the last chapter last panel...ch 103..my hart dont flutter etc for him.but i feel safe and i need him.. last panel of manhwa ..i love you to ..like WTF :D ! Plus, the scumbag ex has to be in every fkn chapter lol.. even in the last ch he still confessed hes love and next panel fl confesses her love to ml.. .like panels apart... LIKE WTF :D And the it ends :D

Until chapter 60, it was a relatively nice story, sure it wasn't the most original trope but why not.

From season 3 though, it got so boring, I really physically can't keep reading this story. I feel like Arendt's character has took a turn that doesn't make sense within the storyline. Meanwhile, Neveah is hardly progressing in terms of character growth.
I dropped it around chapters 70, after multiple attempts to force myself to finish (I hate dropping series), but I keep falling asleep on it.

God, this was SO boring 😭. The romance is dull, the revenge (there’s none), and the FL is as dull as a blank piece of paper. The ML seems to have taken all the personality in this manhwa. What the hell?

Like come on, atleast take revenge on FL’s piece of sht ex-fiance. Like sure, we see him regret, but nothing else really happens to him. His reputation, wealth, status, mental state and everything else is just fine. Ugh.

Didn’t gain an ounce of satisfaction from reading this.

not my kind of story

I'm as big a people pleaser as anyone else and as an actual introvert I've never really felt "lonely" or "isolated". Being alone and solitary is a relief to me. I don't really understand the desperation to be loved and to run after someone for a solid decade. To do so much for someone who takes you for granted.

Characters like Neveah (I prefer this spelling since it's "Heaven" reversed.) aren't stoic in the way I understand the word. She's only pretending to not feel anything when the character I'm looking for should actually BE ambivalent.

So, this isn't my kind of story. I'm not emotionally invested since I don't understand but at the same time I do like how she's taking charge. That's nice to read.
