Kaede, a young man from the rabbit tribe, is given the shock of his life when he learns he's been chosen to become the new bride to the distinguished yet dangerous wolf family. Despite not wanting to marry—let alone marry a wolf—Kaede must go along with the plans in order to help his family and ensure they have enough supplies and food for the next two years.

But can a rabbit survive being stuck in the wolf's den? Or is Kaede destined to be a sacrifice to the hungry-looking wolves?
