Description
1-4. King Game
The second prince, Renge, of our favorite royal family is sent to a neighboring country as collateral in a foreign relations deal. When things turn sour between their countries, he becomes a virtual hostage of a tyrant King, Ouga.

I guess it's okay for a short story, but chapter 1-4 have zero chemistry between the couple and it's just kind of boring to read. Pretty basic with okay art, typical of the yaoi genre. Guess I just need to stay away from collections of short stories to avoid this.
I had a blast reading the story about the first two couple. Don't you just love relationships that get a rough start. It is just that much fun seeing them fall for each other. The last story was also very cute, but with the most adorable uke you will ever see. Oh my goodness

I'm not used to reading kind of unique manga. This isn't unique in some things, but in others is SO is (I mean, within reason - it's entertaining for what it is).
Like, it actually has some convincing dilemmas. In the first story, the tyrant king forces the 2nd prince to stay by threatening the well being of his own (the tyrant's) people because if the 2nd prince returns, there'll be war and the 2nd prince's country will win (thus everyone else dies). Creative! I mean, it's crazy and not realistic, but it's not supposed to be - and I like it for what it is.
Love the pirates, too! I'd read a whole volume on that one.
The dialog is generally good! Usually in manga I can predict anything anyone will say in the situation (it's fairly standardized), but in this one I got surprises. Like when the pirate captain is surprised because the prince hasn't fallen for him (prince says he won't sleep with someone he doesn't love), the prince is indignant and think something like, "It's not like I'm going to suddenly fall for you and shout, 'Take me, take me!'" Heh!
Read this. It's fun, if pretty vapid. The art is just lovely, too.

I'm a huge fan of Ryou-sensei every since I started reading the game series. I really liked this one too. It was cute and lovely. A must read for any Ryou-sensei fan.
The description pretty much says it all. Pretty typical romance storylines, similar to what you'd find in a romance novel. The characters in the last 2 stories were cute, though.
