If you've read any Miki Aihara, you know what the deal is. Weak girl who is sometimes almost not weak get tossed around by boys and inevitably ends up with the one who is the worst. Honey Hunt went on hiatus before this could actually be codified but it was coming.

The main character of this series drove me up the wall from the first chapter. Character wise she has all the appeal of a puddling, fragile and shaky though not really sweet. Until the last moment I was hoping she would develop some backbone but my hopes were in vain. I could not sympathise with her at all. The rest of the characters were all shoujoish and thus lacking any real personality. The only redeeming factor was the art which is of consistent quality but not extraordinary. I really wish I hadn't thrown away so many hours of my life for this rubbish.

I love this story I have never been able to connect so well with a character I totally know what the character's personality is because it is mine always being over looked only seen as a stepping stone and knowing that a writer could write about this makes me so happy. I really hope she continues the story because I will be so sad if she doesn't. this id the only series I think I can actually read over again.

First - Hopefully I can really continue and finish this comment one day, when the story isn't on hiatus anymore and has come to an end. Till then, there's the [tbc] ... Sighs~

Beginning with the drawing style of AIHARA Miki, it's simple and therefore matching the story so far quite well. You get your cute, puppy-eyed main character and quite attractive guys, while the backgrounds are kept without any unnecessary details.

Coming to the storyline, there are surely some flaws and weaknesses, that are well-known in the Shoujo genre. People loving a reverse harem scenario and crybaby protagonist will get their expectations fullfilled, but the character growth and development of the story itself is yet not really remarkable. Anyways, since it's still unfinished, this might change ... Who knows?

For me a few scenes made me smile and got me attached, so I will try to be patient and keep my hopes. If you are interested in those, then ...

Chapter 8's park scene was just catchy. When Q-ta was counting backwards on the phone and showing up in the right moment with that typical attitude, I somehow ended up grinning. Honestly, is that guy not awesome? Haha. And - Although one can argue about the kissing scene on the staircase, the onsen math attack in order to calm down also is another example of that guys quirky yet charming touch.

As for Haruka - The plan to use his live and the projected image he has there for getting the girl, was expressing the mean guy outside and cute kid inside feel he had kinda well. Also, I liked it, when he went crazy about his battery dying before he could finish the dialogue he plannend out before. Kkk.

The only thing thats different is her role. she is a model. She very naive and very clumsy girl, which we seem a lot from other stories espically clamp, but he it does't mean that they aren't cute. I find the story very intersting and I want to see more. MIKI PLEASE CONTINUE THIS SERIES! I MUST READ MORE!

I don't know where, everyone is talking about the ending when the series is not even over yet. The series is on break so I don't think they are reading the same manga. But Anyway. To me, I very much adore this series. I find it very similar to Hot gimmick in some way but I like it. The heroine is trying to vecome a model, which is a trait kind of pass on to her parents but she grows up little to little to gain exprenice as she learns the things about being a model. The boy who she seem to be in love with is a mystery because she doesnt know if she love her because for her or just one to get one step closer to get to her father which he admires almost. the twin brother Haruka seems to have also have so feelings for her as he stole her first kiss. He didn't seem to have careness for her at first but when he sees he as a different person thorugh being a model, he wants to make her hism even though she loves the other twin brother. The manger, indeed cares for her as well, but he also in love with her. (Kind weird) but is seems to be a father figure, which he comes to realize it himself.

Through it all I have to see this series, is very intersting and full of series, which I just can't want to see how it turns it out, as I continue to wait for the author to be off from break and finish her series.

It was good until chapter 8 then it got boring and I lost interest and stated scanning through bits and pieces but then it picked up again and I loved it give it a chance is all I can say hehe . P.s don't judge a book by its cover - the ending 😮

Let's start with the art. It's not super amazing. But it's cute. Quite simple.

Then the whole Skip Beat comparison. I'm not really a Skip Beat fan, and I don't find Kyoko to be as amazing as most people say (though she's a decent heroine unlike most) but she's definitely way more impressive than Yura, who doesn't exactly have a personality/spine. The premise isn't trying to rip off SB. They're just both about the same industry, and SB is more successful by far, so comparison is unavoidable. That's all. Oh, and the whole evil mom thing in this manga is a little unrealistic, but then again I didn't expect much realism anyways so I wasn't that bothered by it.

The brothers in here are cute and all, but nothing totally memorable either. To be honest I only started this series because I heard Haruka was based off Akanishi Jin from KAT-TUN, whom I absolutely adore. I was curious. 🙂 It's kinda of personal thing for me though, why I kept reading just for that little detail. But now that I've run out of chapters, I'm not really interested in more. It's really nothing special. Just okay for shoujo fans. I admit I'm more of a shoujo critic, so I gave it a lower rating because it's really mediocre from a critical standpoint, but you could very well enjoy it. Just depends.

i loved this ! i got really excited and hyper the whole time. i had a lot of reactions which only happens in good manga/anime.
i like the characters, but not all. sometimes, some characters got really annoying. like how q'ta gets included with yura too much. it doesn't really make me all excited since she never worked too hard to get him, and plus, he went for her just for her father, right? well i know that changed overtime, but when he was with yura, he never showed a lot of expressions, it was as if he was still being a player. i'm completely aware that he really loves her, but sometimes it gets annoying.
i prefer his brother, haruka. im not too sure why. i guess he's kinder and doesn't include himself with too many girls. it was hard to get him to like yura since he never really has an interest in girls as much as q'ta.
i dislike how there's a 3rd guy in it. shachou. 2 guys liking her is kind of enough. i think 3's too much. and plus, he's her manager. and he doesn't look good with yura. he's kind of old and mature and too fatherly/brotherly like.

though, overall, i like it. i like mangas where the main character strives to get stronger for a goal. in this case, it was to reach higher than her mother in showbiz world. they're super cool >.<

i cant wait for more 😀

I was hoping that the girl would some how be a female lead in the manga not a poor,shy, push over who is practically kissed by every guy!
the guys in the story are controlling and never consider her feelings.
and then she thinks it's here fault that the guys treat her this way.
the manga is really sexist
