Description

The male lead has gynophobia (fear of woman) due to a traumatic experience. Following the recommendation of his sister, who is a nun with little brother-complex, he enters a previously all female school that now has a 9:1 female to male ratio. Then the queen of the school demands that he work for her as her secretary! How will the gynophobic guy cope working so close to the queen?

Another day brings another series from Gangan Joker.

Plot wise, the premise is most easily compared to Girl Saurus, yet the treatment is completely different. The main heroine here is done in a very hilarious manner, and is not a tsundere. The guy's traumatic experience is explained in the Prologue, and is somewhat believable. Looking at the tags, if you are looking for deep story line, better look elsewhere. If you are looking for fun, comedy, and a dosage of pretty girls, you might want to give this a shot.

This is written just purely based on the prologue, highly subjected to change.

I love this manga sooo much!
I love Shia's act towards the main male character that IMO hardly found in other manga.
And I love it's artwork.

The ending certainly left a lot of things unclear, but as far as their relationship is concerned, both the male and the female lead got a decent closure. They are both better off than when they started and it was nice to see them at least improve.

In terms of the characters, as a guy, I can totally understand where the male lead is coming from, but I also respect the strength in going to this kind of school to get rid of his phobia. I don't think I'd have the mental strength to do so myself. The female lead is certainly the highlight of this story, everything she does is just hilarious and outstanding, though based on her background it makes sense.

Would really hope this gets a sequel of sorts that would show him meeting her mother.

Dunno what to think

This manga is not bad but its not good either. If I had to choose it is good, but it leaves behind so much in its story because it got axed that makes it bad. It had potential for something better but it didnt get its chance.

On a personal note, if I were that male MC, I would've run far away from that place xD. Girls are indeed scary if by some awful and bad luck you get in their bad side...

Reasons for points:

Gosick But Without A Proper Plot

I'm a fan of neither Gosick nor Zettai Joousei. There's not much for me to say since Zettai Joousei is only two volumes long. Zettai Joousei is similar to Gosick in that they both feature an unassuming butler-type character who serve a pampered and commanding kuudere girl half their height and end up developing feelings for. The glaring difference is that Zettai Joousei forgoes the Sherlock Holmes mystery-style story in favor of strictly romance.

The strange out-of-left field yuri revenge kiss in the second volume was purely fanservice for individuals into that sort of thing and didn't feel necessary in the slightest . In my opinion, there's not much content to go by with Zettai Joousei, so you won't miss out on anything but skipping this one. The dog is adorable and the artwork is superb, though, and makes up the bulk of my positives with this manga.

so far i like it more than girls saurus
i think it will get better. good art and like the author...tokyo innocent was pretty good and i hope this will be as good as it.

As soon as I read that synopsis, I was reminded of Girl Saurus/Dx.
But I personally like Girl Saurus better [The comedy for one; and it also being by the creator of "Bitter Virgin"] but I digress.

Zettai Joousei does have a good start, and hopefully it won't be a run-of-the-mill story following a plot line like this:

The "Queen" torments him every day [which doesn't take much] eventually, through some tactic or learning more about said-characters. He falls in love with the "Queen" and overcomes his gynophobia.

If it happens like that, I'll seriously cringe.

But for now, I'll give it an 8/10.

Edit: I changed it to a six. The ending was too rushed, and it felt like the author decided to do that ending on the spot. But at least it was better than the ending I was expecting, in a few ways.

Overused concept.

As @stuopidget mentioned the premise is most easily compared to Girl Saurus, yet the treatment is completely different..But i didn't even found it funny in the first place, unlike Girls Saurus/Dx which is hilarious even though it's jokes are overused.A different sense of humor between the two series i suppose...
At times i think it has a lot of similarities with Seitokai no Ichizon if you would ask me but Zettai Joousei doesn't focus that much on the student council theme.

Character development:Well the typical generic ones in those type of manga.This one in particular has a blockhead student council president who maintains order (queen),the tall black haired senpai who talks less and acts more (who is dressed with boy's uniform btw) and reminds me one from Seitokai no Ichizon,the male protagonist who is the victim of the girls authority,the happy go lucky sister etc.

Not much of a read.
