story has some anime tier bs in it, but damn I really couldn't keep myself from stopping. it had me hooked since the beginning and read it all in one go. loved the art as well as the illustrations that were added at the start of chapters.

Spoilers:

My only problem was the whole "MC also has nano powers injected before his sister died" it wasn't random but it really put me off for some reason, probably due to the fact that he was in danger that it was revealed

the story is nothing special. it isnt particularly cliched, but there was nothing actually interesting or worth looking forward to, and overall its quite stupid with annoying antagonists.
the scifi part - just dont think about it, pretend its magic. dont look for logic or consistency.
during most of the story the male protagonist and antagonists were just absolutely awful, anime bullshit tier. they all end up fine in terms of character development in the ending, but the male protagonist in the first 120 chapters is very easily the main reason somebody would drop this.
the art is whatever, but the character designs are very good, beautiful even :^)

and now the main reason why this isnt garbage - the characters. the visuals aside, the characters are well written. basically all of them get developed over the course of the story, which is almost unheard of in the world of chinese comics.
even the villains get development, its just that they barely go beyond shades of mustache twirling.
not a single character is completely one-dimensional aside from the sister.
the character interactions are also good, they feel like actual interactions instead of the author advancing the plot via character vehicles.
shockingly the jokes were actually all good, by no means is this a comedy manga, but all the gags were perfectly in place and worth a smile at least.

this is not some amazing work of art, but a solid timewaster with pretty and interesting characters. if you can stand the protagonist being a slightly less retarded shinji you should probably give it a try, thankfully he isnt the absolute main focus.

I'm really glad I stumbled upon this series before webtoons switches the series to "Daily Pass", so I could still read it there in one sitting. 3:30am now, how long has it been, 8 hours? idk

I really don't like harem plots, and I dislike sexualized representations of (any gender) in any story. I thought I wouldn't be able to stand it in Nano List too, but eventually you get over it because first of all it isn't that overdone, but most importantly IT'S FUNNY. Comedy gets me, and this webtoon comedies. Also the first that I saw so much swearing in a webtoon... maybe I haven't read enough.

Anyway, the progression of the plot is amazingly solid considering how many time lapses there were, but the pacing of the story is so good and the time gaps were all weaved in nicely. The story never drags and there's literally zero plotholes because everything gets covered. It's not a long read either so you can read it in one sitting (yes, you can. It took me about 9 or 10 hours LOL look at the time I posted this. The comment before mine says it all too). But it does get quite deep and emotional, and characters do die, so be prepared.

The Sexy Love Comedy was kind of a WTF to me at first, but considering it all, it makes sense to include some development of romantic love for Milo. I don't quite like his character, but he had a big character development... I can probably talk so much more about everything else too, but just give it a read and form your own opinions!

LOL I ended up Google translating it myself and got the gist of what the blog post was about...

So, Chacha's dog clearly passes away, and although Zavi is sad, she knew this was coming. But she suddenly thought back to what she said in the past.

Referencing back to Ch. 138 (YEAH I flipped back through the chapters just to find this), when Zavi "suggests" for Chacha to rest, and to let her know when she had enough rest. Chacha asked how would she know when that'd be? Zavi says, she can have the sun rise west, or a dog speak Korean, or turn an old man young. Basically, never. And Chacha says, "okay, I'll give it a try".

She wondered if there could be that sign, however slim it may be. She got a 6-sided pencil and wagered that if it struck O, then she would go wake Chacha up. At first, she drew an O on one of the pencil's sides, but she crossed it off and replaced it with an X when she remembered how Chacha was struggling wishing for peace. "Sorry Chacha, looks like all 6 sides are X's"...

But as Zavi threw the pencil away, it landed on its tip between the floorboards, to reveal that it landed on the O that is at the end of the pencil. She runs towards the door leading to Zavi... "I only know if the door is opened or not."

It's so beautiful. I love ittttttttt.

Here's a dumb harem comedy plot:

Generic high school boy lives with hot robot maid. On his birthday, he receives another hot robot girl as a gift from his dead sister. Comedic shenanigans ensue, and the two hot robot girls vow to protect the young protagonist from evil hot robot girls who are out to get him.

Somehow, this becomes the premise for an intense, gripping, and extremely funny sci-fi thriller.

Hilarious personalities, moral grey areas, a dangerous and intelligent main antagonist, brutal fights, sweet art, a solid plot, and occasional musical accompaniment turn what might have been a shit premise into an incredibly fun read. Still pretty short, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where this goes, and hoping it'll continue to surprise me.
