Description
The spunky Lady Dillon didn't realize she was the villain of a romance novel until she encounters Marquess Cedric. Seeing him jogs a dormant memory of the novel's plot, in which her beloved younger sister dies in childbirth after marrying Cedric. Determined to prevent this, Dillon marries him herself, but what fate awaits her when she knows he's meant to fall in love with the real female lead later? In this marriage of convenience, it seems nothing turns out quite how either of them expects...

I kept grinning like a fool, this is so fluffy and funny (๑>◡<๑)
The romance is great, they have an amazing chemistry. The fl is so refreshing, she’s so natural and easygoing. I also love the ml, he’s very down to earth and caring. Their relationship is growing steadily, I really enjoy the fact that they’re first becoming friends.
Even the side characters are great, they are all so endearing.
No plot yet, but even if it stays a slice of life I will continue reading. I love this 🌸

I enjoy the interaction between the ML and the FL and like that the romance is happening gradually. They seem to be falling for each other because of their personality chemistry and not simply b.c a bunch of unexpected flirty situations keep happening as is the norm in many Shoujo.
I also appreciate that the ML and FL both communicate with each other instead of just making drama with a bunch of useless misunderstandings. The things they don't communicate makes sense from a realistic standpoint.
Lastly I feel the FL personality is a breath of fresh air from the stereotype for strong women. Most authors when trying to make a female look strong or feel strong, they make them overly aggressive, in your face with a "I don't care what anybody says I will do what I want, screw the rules" attitude. Dylan is not that. She is aggressive about somethings, but is actually humble, she is outgoing and honest, but respects the social structures of society, even caring about not dishonoring or slandering her family and husbands name.
However Dylan isn't a complete push over which is nice. She feels more like an adult with multiple layers attached to her personality, and less like a character tying to appeal to the girl power movement plaguing a lot of our media programs now. I hope she will stay this way as the story progresses and hope she won't turn into your typical screw everything I'm a do me sort of FL.

Dylan is funny. Her sister is a funny shipper. Cedric as male lead is funny enough. So far, so good.
