Protagonist is a god(ess)

Hello.
First let me clarify that I did use the Categories as well as searched the forums so please don't direct me there. I only found two threads here and another one about cute goddesses (lost the link), but I can't tell much about them without reading first and I don't want to start something I'd end up wasting time on.
Well then, the actual request.
I'm looking for a manga where the protagonist is a god or a goddess. If possible I don't want a naive and gullible character nor do I want them stricken with luuuuv. I'd like them to be at least 15+ in age (though I'd prefer if they were ancient or at least older). Plot shouldn't center around romance, I don't mind it, but it should be secondary or less...or none, it'd be best if it does not influence the plot in any major way.
Complete manga please, but not required.
I welcome any recommendations you can give 🙂
Thanks in advance 😀

Saint Oniisan - great deal two gods in one manga 😉
Watashi no Kyuuseishu-sama - the plot is revolving around saving the world but romance is big part of story

Thanks kropka, I'll check out Saint Oniisan, I should probably edit my request a bit >_<
I'll check the other one too, maybe it'll keep my attention for more than 3 chapters 😀

hey thanks buddy! Saint Oniisan is awesome. I'm glad Japenese aren't fanatics about religion that this kind of manga can be published, here in my country you could find your house burned and family beheaded if you offended some religion antics

Spice and Wolf matches your description, though technically the protagonist is the guy who hangs out with the goddess. Should be close enough though.

The manga Makami-sama no Iutoori fits, mostly.
The plot does mainly center around romance between the God (he's an ancient Japanese kami) and a human girl, she's in high school but very mature for her age, which also alienates her from her classmates. One of the things I like about this manga is that the God is not so ridiculously perfect; actually, he's a very ferocious, possessive and even a bit brutal, and rather than changing him the main character has to struggle to accept these things as simply part of his nature (He's a wolf-type kami). There are also a lot of other interesting characters and concepts from both Shinto and Buddhist mythology throughout the story, but let me reiterate the main focus is the relationship between the two main characters. Only 2 chapters are scanlated so far but 4 volumes have been published in Japanese so far and I've read them all, and the story gets extremely interesting as it progressed :D

When I think of Goddesses, I think of "Oh! My Goddess!"

Heh. I'm from Malaysia, and we just deported this guy back to Saudi Arabia, where he is likely to be executed. His crime? He made some tweets about the prophet Mohammad. Not even harsh ones, just a bit snarky. http://mideastposts.com/2012/02/12/saudi-tweet-journalist-deported-from-malaysia/

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll check them out. I think I pointed it out in my op but I'm looking for something that does not center around romance. From what I can tell all the ones you recommended (except Saint Oniisan) have romance as a major part of the plot.
Are there any that have it as a sub-plot or something?
I read Angel Diary, and tried Oh! My Goddess (booring).
Gonna put Spice and Wolf for future reading, looking for a god protagonist for now :3
Because I'm the Goddess seems childish, opinions?
Makamisama no Iutoori! on hold, no scans :3
And please stick to the topic, I am not interested in some guy getting deported and didn't make the thread for it (sorry, if it sounds cruel, but is true) Thanks 🙂

Well u ask for quite rare stuff. So dont be surprised that what we sugesst isnt to your liking xD.
Well this is my sugesstion:
Blast - its about guy who turn outs to be an angel kicked out of heaven. There is one problem about this manga and that is its art ( not everybody like it).
Ao no Futsumashi - main protagonist is son of satan raised by priest. Since its anime aired not to long ago probably everybody knows it by now...
Hakoiri Devil Princess - but its ecchi with romance so u probably wont like it.
Shina Dark - Kuroki Tsuki no Ou to Souheiki no Himegimi - main guy is demon lord and he just woke up after hundred years of sleep. This is one of my favorite mangas its not long but its really funny. WARNING: its just first book author intended to make sequel but its been couple years at still no news ( so its with out end 😔 ).
Kami sen - its somewhat like parody so dont expect much seriuosness from this one xD.
Demon King - i dont know will u like or what main protagonist is just a warrior from hell.
Also i remember manga there main girl one night woke up and understood she was goodess or something like that but i didnt like it so droped it and now i cannt remember its title 😔
If any more come to mind i will write more 😃
I dont really get what u want. But u really are looking for unicorn since u want god as main protagonist. God is ultimate being u cant really make him stronger and in mangas mostly what is shown is character growth... So u can find god as a protagonist only in romance or parody mangas... 🤢

Thanks for your recommendations. Yea, I figured it would be a difficult request a bit too late >,<
I'm reading Demon King already :3 I love the fact there's no romance as far as I can tell.
Reading Ao no Futsumashi
I'll check out Blast and Shina Dark
I think the one you're talking about might be Kamichu! Based on the summary.
@Myuym
I tried, I did >,< got bored of it too fast.
