Oh my god, this is the best action/drama manga I've read in the longest freaking time ever. The art is so unbelievable fantastic in those later parts, it's just freaking insanely amazing. At first, lacrima stuff(volume 7+) was looking weird, but you get used to it, and then the awesome scenes just keep arriving.
The plot is epic. One or two twists are considerably foreseeable, there are seriously a couple plot points that are just plain epic, although that might be because of the art. It's a fantasy action romance adventure, and every bit of those genres are completely filled in(unlike, say, rave, where you see a romantic remark every 50 chapters...). character development is awesome, everyone has a part, pretty much any and every person(except that cool teacher guy and tarutaru, you never really see how they got so awesome). It's just... OMG, it''s epicly awesome.
Poor lilu. The ending fits, but that's why she's one of the favorite characters. Sariel was also amazing that 13th volume too.
That last volume, volume 13, had one or two rushed parts. The thing with Ryouhei was a bit... you know. The focus shifted a bit. Honestly, the first two volumes felt a bit rushed, although not much, but once you get absorbed, you get hella absorbed. The art changed between volume 6 and 7 is somewhat tangible, but you'll proably like it after volume 8+.
God, I love this manga. Art 10, story 9,85, characters 10, everything's almost perfect.
...I think the author wanted to change it into an ecchi manga after lacrima started. Not that much ecchi, but there are one or two scenes in one or two of the volumes that are... yeah...

i read this manga and thought oh wow its really good w/good plot 2 but during vol 6 or somewhere around there it just skipped some parts i thought someone must had updated it wrong but it was right just like metamike said
there should have been more to it or in better words more explaining
over all it was really great but i think there should have been more put together i guess...

total crap as the Author cant decide if he wants to be Ecchi comedy or a serious action manga so it ends up to be some crap with some ramdom stoylines. even the action/fight scenes are so disjointed it feels like your reading with missing pages.

The manga starts pretty bad, a kind of poor mix ecchi fantasy shounen... the art is lacks quality . I thought of giving up reading it.
But after half of the story ,exactly after the one year time skip, it develops tremendously and turns to great shounen  the plot is interesting and the art is really awesome. After all it reachs to a nice ending. Strongly reccomend !

Hahaha, I can't explain this one, but with one word I think I could. Compassion . Give it a try I'm sure you won't regret it. If you do, well it must not be your type ^_^'. Although, as stated before, the art lacks quality at first but as you move further into the story it honestly becomes quite a masterpiece.

I read up til they spared Lilu, the priestess of ruin, who had murdered villages and children. Boohoo. Yeah, must save her. She was Harunas friend. What a bunch of crap. Sorry, but the whole lack of justice for this murderous bitch all because she manages to show a tiny scrap of humanity... You know its coming of course, but even still, I just couldn't take any more. Theres only so much moronic crap you can take before you have to set it aside.

This wasn't like anything I have ever read. I laughed. I cried. I was so emotionally enticed for some reason. From beginning, to middle, to end I was glued to this series. Although it may be cheesy, I guess I could say I have a new viewpoint on friendship; it's a great thing to have.

| not to long or to short, have a lot of plot twist(make reading the next chapter more fun, for me especially). recommended for anyone who like some twisted plot. |

it's deep, real deep. i though it was something light and easy like MAR when i first looked at it, but wow. one of my favorites. ending felt a bit short, i wanted to see a bit more afterwards, but overall very satisfying.

ok...... when i just started this manga, ive read 3 volumes but then the art just.... too blank... i want more background and other coloring... not like all white and stuff.... thus i stopped readin.... and then went on to read something else... that was already half year ago...
ok.... so yesterday i got bored and started rereadin from the start and download volume 8-13 that i havnt download back then.. this time i finish the whole thing.... and found 3 main flaws that i dont like.... which each is minue .5 point for me...
first of all.... the story just rushed to end the first half.... totally wtf with volume 6... its rushed the whole way to end it....
second.... the starting of the second half lacrima, the art is god damn ugly!!! totally changed the whole thing and the time skip.... u dont know a thing about what happened (tho the art did get better over time... but man i dont even know that dude is shinya.... totally different lookin at the beginning)
Spoiler (highlight to view) third..... the ending...... i wont say its the best.... but what about lilu?!.... she just died like that?..... how can that happen?!!!... and lilu was my favorite character.... how can she just die?!!!.... and everyone else all happy?!....
ok... now lets talk about what i like..... the best part of the series is when aina turn back into the book.... thats pretty sad.... and then shinya go berserk.... thats awesome...
ps... why is it all the time friend vs friend?... hmm.... i mean.... tons of manga or anime or w.e is one friend good dude other friend bad dude kill each other... umm wtf?...
