Hi! I've always loved manga that revolved around high school clubs. The main focus of the manga is usually about the club members and their activities. In the past I've loved Yankee-kun to Megane-chan and the student council bits of Fruits Basket. Also Beauty Pop, OHSHC, and Butter!!!.

Basically, any manga that is about a school club and their wacky adventures.

**I prefer shoujo and seinen rather than shounen. No yaoi, yuri, or hentai (light smut is okay, though I'm not sure the manga I'm interested in would have that anyway). Also please no harems because ughuhj they annoy me so much ;A; **Comedy would be GREATLY appreciated since I'm looking for something light and hilarious, and I wouldn't mind romance either. But if it was straight comedy that would be okay too! I'd rather not read 4-koma manga, but /shrug/ that's fine.

Buriki no Kanzume - crafts club
Gakuen Babysitters - also some scenes of the baseball team and home ec.
Narukou Shiikubu - animals

this might count as a harem but
Five - it has wacky adventures just like OHSHC

Oresama Teacher
K-ON!

Seconded:
Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo
Otokomae! Beads Kurabu
Gakuen Babysitters
Five - though it's been a few years since I started reading it and I have yet to catch up

Revolves around a club but they're shounen so I don't think they're what you're looking for:
Kuroko no Basuke
Girls of the Wild's?

There is a club category.

My recs, mostly picked from there:
Genshiken
Chihayafuru what about josei?
Yuru Yuri shoujo ai is really light
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu despite being a shounen, but I'm pretty sure you already heard of it.
Based on anime/novel I'd also suggest Kokoro Connect and Hyouka but they're probably weaker that anime/novel.

And I don't like to criticize other people recs, but I can't think of a series which represents the harem genre more than Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, so I wouldn't even try it if you don't want harem.

It's shounen, but you can't go wrong with Sket Dance.

Thank you everyone ^^ I'll be sure to check out the clubs category as well! I really appreciate it. Usually I tend to shy away from shounen because of the length, but if they have a good enough story and characters I'll probably enjoy myself in spite of it! Thank you again 🙂

I second Otokomae! Beads Kurabu and Beauty Pop
Bamboo Blade is also about clubs but its shounen and there isn't really romance. Well, there's romance subplot between

eiji and Mira Mira.... though I won't consider it as romance XD . Its a comedy manga and is very additive. Give it a shot

GOKURAKU SEISHUN HOCKEY BU Another manga about club... Its shoujo and has comedy so its definitely what you're looking for.

Diamond Head Is also about clubs... Only their club is about being a lawyer and stuff... Its really interesting and its shoujo.. Try it
