more serios lol i thinkthe sadest moment i've ever read in a manga was when
the main character of berserk got his got raped infront of him...that wasn't cool man...not cool

Gintama has some pretty sad moments
though the anime shows them more clear i think coz music etc

The Carp on the Chopping Block Jumps Twice
these are yaoi but they're the saddest stories I've ever read. the unrequested love is heartbreaking. The way that the portagonist is wavy about his feeling hurts the person who's been chasing him.

mangas hmm maybe ai ren and forever honey, other than that dunno since i tend to avoid those types of mangas. Just recently finished watching anime Gundam Seed 00 season 1----and it was soo sad near the end especially when two of my favourite characters died

Strobe Edge - I can stand unrequited love in manga stories, but this one just crosses the line between "kinda sad, but oh well" and "dang it, why is this happening". It's not a frustrated-angry kind of sad. More like a twinge in the heart that makes you wanna hug a pillow.

i have to say Fruits Basket... cause even though its not my favorite.. it did made me cry/ almost cry more than once!! and Kare Kano as well... especially the part about Arima.. 🙁
