Quote from Crenshinibon

Quote from Tenji

There is no such thing as evil. There is just a lot of justice that conflicts with each other. For example, Hitler believed that getting rid of the Jews is the right thing to do, while most people believes that its wrong. Both ideals conflict with one another but both sides believe they are right. In response to the video, those are just a bunch of negative issues we humans do in reality. However there are a lot of good things humanity have done. Humans are sinful creatures to begin with, you can't expect any of us to not do anything bad.

...and, there's Godwin's law.

I probably laughed at that more than I should have 😛

People focus too much on the bad things.

not much changed.

Being good is hard. It takes hard work.

The world is going to be better and better.

The reason so much evil is happening is because of a lack of voice, a lack of Resistance and understanding.

The world is nearing complete globalization and the number of people educated are on the rise.

we can't expect a good world without hard work.

Humanity is fascinating.

I have no moral opinions about whether we are good or bad, as a collective. In another few centuries I might be entitled to an opinion.

I do know that I ***like ***being human.

Humanity is evil anyway, because the only good things humans do is good for humans(themselfes or others) or they are trying to lessen the impact of shit humans caused. But I don't really care. (maybe thats because i'm evil?)

The same thing I thought of humanity before this. That is, that we're a race of maniacal, degenerate monkeys with a suicidal combination of consciousness permeating base instinct, and the ability to adapt hostile environments to suit our every whim. We're plenty homo, but not at all sapient. At least animals have to indulge their baser instincts out of dire need, for the sake of survival, but where's our excuse?

Degenerate monkeys?
Listen 'ere boy, we might be degenerate but we are not monkeys.

Our excuse?
The Devil, maybe no one can prove it, but hey, it's an excuse nonetheless.

As for the video
Perhaps the video clip of Affirmation from Savage Garden can represent my thoughts.

Some of the these mentioned aren't really things you could hold people responsible for like a degenerative mental condition, or a tsunamai.

Humans are like most animals but better, nicer.

There's laws that prevent me from walking down the straight and taking a bat to every stray dog I see. That doesn't benefit humanity. As crazy as PETA is, that's also an example. One way people try to express that is by showing how connected an ecosystem is but that doesn't explain why we feel the need for humane conditions for creatures we're going to kill or experiment(humane not the same thing as sanitary).

Humans can empathize with things, even inanimate things, but especially creatures that already seek sympathy from their own species, particularly other mammals.

Evil? Good? We are just like every other animal inhabiting this planet. Saying we are "evil" is almost like giving us a hire archy claim.
Greed, pride, anger, jelousy, etc, are all natures brought on by simple necessities.
You can't claim human nature to be"strange" because that is the way things have been functioning for so long. It is only strange agaisnt ideology.

This buisness of evil. Bad or good. Man made ideologies. Seriously...look at it clearly. We are animals at the very essence of it all. Isn't it only normal we behave that way without complete oder? 😮

EDIT:
on topic:
Yes, after watching the video i had now thought. "humanity...? What a good amv though"
No but seriously that was a good amv. top notch typography and all.

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

We are highly wild and brutal species.

Sorry, I really think it.

It's not about humanities brutality but about our empathy and creative thinking.

When looking at animal world it can be noticed that many of the crimes humanity has committed are committed on regular basis - cannibalism (for many species a norm, a meat is a meat no mater the origin), rape (survival of the species comes first), brutally killing the competition even if there didn't exist a real threat (a need for self defense) or need for food (many lions would kill the cubs if they suspect that they are not their own) e.t.c.
Humans are the only animals who would consider these actions a crime. A thing other animals could never comprehend.

On the very moment this topic was started, the author of the topic proved it wrong. The very thing that humans feel empathy towards those who suffer makes it absurd to call humanity the hight of brutality.

This.

Any and all ideas about morality are the products of humanity. Only humans could give birth to something like the Holocaust, but only humans would feel remorse about it afterwards. Less intelligent animals aren't more or less "brutal", just simpler.
