i love my country (canada), but i hate the people running it. actually i hate all politicians: a bunch of stupid old jackass codgers that can't their heads out of their asses. get someone unfer the age of 40 maybe, or a woman (no offense to guys) and then maybe we'll get somewhere.

I could like my country (USA) better, the direction things have gone under our current crook/president worry me greatly and a lot of things happen that I'm not very proud of.

I love my country, even if I think Italian politicians (particularly one prime minister..) are humongous jerks who do nothing but mind their own business, even if it's hard to get jobs, even if Rome isn't too clean or organized, even if there are many things that go wrong... I love it. It's beautiful, it's pleasant, and I'm proud to be part of it.

I suppose I have a hate-love relationship with my country- India. In general, I am not much patriotic but I do hate it when people criticize it. There was a BBC program on China vs India which made me go MAD though I had to agree with some parts...And I do dislike the fact that its hot, I cant stand the heat and the population but I love my culture and the music and dance and it still my home....but I do wish there were more job opportunities 😢 not to mention cleaner amenities and better transport..ah! I suppose the list will go on...

but yeah, i'm with you....hell no i hate america, in fact fuck america....whats good about it? and to think i read someone say "the people are nice", do you know how high the crime rate is? the murder rate?....america is a cesspool for some of the worst humans the world has to offer, aside from the racists, murderers, pedophiles, and all other sadistic fucks.... we have waayyy to many corrupt politicians, corrupt police, and a fucking idiot for a president, not to mention the worse economy sense the great depression......and dont get me started on the growing number of homeless and other walking trash such as crack heads and all sorts of addicts.....

and if their none of the above....then they're most likely a walking talking fuck up, a waste of space, or someone ignorant enough to be manipulated by the media and believe all's well in this country.....

plus the governments all fucked up....they use all our money to look for WOMDs that don't exist, and as said drilling for oil....now gas prices are higher then coke prices, and as was mentioned earlier healthcare is free........and the last time i checked the dow jones was down alot of points

to make a long story short.....no i dont love my country, but to each his own (didn't post in here to offend anyone)

i suggest you all save up your money up and get the hell out of america while you still can......because i have a feeling things are only gonna get worse

I was born in the US and at the moment I am living in a 3 world country in the Caribbean (Dominican Republic), and regardless of all the reports of racism against the Haitians that the UN so proudly says outloud is not even close to the things back home.

Yeah, the Dominicans do use racial tones sometimes (even with white people), but hardly ever is in a way of insult, rather than that I think they are funny (things like Hey you "the black guy wearing a green T-Shirt" and "Hey you the white guy behind the fat guy&quot 😉 , with is not what I can say about the US -_-

Whenever I get lost, there is always someone willing to point me in the right direction and they do it with a smile on their face (unless they are in a bad mood (the economy is not doing well lately), but they help you anyway.

However, I don't agree, in the world there are people more racist/sexist than in the US, but we are pretty damn close >:-(

It's not just the US... There are many similar problems in my country [the falsely jolly neighbour to the North]. We problems to a lesser degree because we aren't as grand as the US and therefore we aren't as damaged as the US when we fall. While there are some racial problem, my country expresses a multicultural face which is supposed to promote cultural acceptance, unity, and such but it unfortunately often results in a melting pot where we eventually lose culture. 😐

We North Americans have a problem balancing post-modernist liberalism and an inheretly capitalist society (not that liberalism and capitalism are terrible ideologies - please don't attack me). We want to say that all people are equal yet at the same time we must struggle to make by in life where stepping on others' toes is unavoidable... We are imbalanced in accepting others' views while retaining our own; we crush some views and allow others to encroach on us as moral criteria. That being said, I am a pessimist....

I neither love nor hate my country; I am content living here... I could be far, far worse off.
