i like Isabella because its a derivative of Elizabeth, and it means "The beautiful one" in Greek (or so ive been told)

as for the name Mayumi i like it because it means "True bow,"
'ma' means truth or reality, and 'yumi' means a bow. 😀 a little trivial knowledge cant hurt XD

as for guy names: Sakamoto Ryoma; 'Sakamoto' means the book of the hill, and the 'Ryo' in Ryoma means the dragon and the 'ma' means horse, so a dragon horse XD

the other guy name i like is Alexander, after Alexander the great 😛

@ahoaho: Is Isaiah your name? I was thinking of the guy in a oneshot, Psycho Knocker 😛

Shilah is one of my D&D-based games character (it means loved by god in Celtic I guess) and Shay Tal, Dathka, Laintail Ay and Vry are names from Helliconia-Spring by Brian Aldiss.
Lucretia was my grandmother's name and if I'll have a girl later on, that one will be her name too 😛

Garnet and Edgar are FF names (9 and 6), and the others are just random names I picked up. Lilith reminds me of a flower 😀 and Nix is the godess of night in Greek mythology and I prefer it as a unisex name.

@Reiketsukan: Isabella is Spanish I guess, not Greek at all 😛 . Evridiki and Teodora are other two preeetty Greek names~.

Nope, noope, Spanish is a Latin language and Ancient Greek was a completely separate language from Latin at those times...the Romans borrowed a lot from the Greeks though after they've conquered it. Mostly all West-European traditional names come from German and Latin.
Sorry-I fail at history.

And you probably mean Slavic (or Slavon, stuff like Croatian and Serbian and Czech...I guess...sorry if I'm making any errors 🙂 ) languages right? 😛
