Vampire Knight sure is popular on this board... Or would it be unpopular @@? I mean Ima fangirl for most boys in shonen/shojo mangas but VK isn't even worth fangirling over in my opinion. Uh Naruto is popular here to huh? 😃 . Yeah, that's puuuurty overrated too. And Air Gear (manga wise, the anime was fine.) was just boring to me 😔 . Bleach is a tad overrated, I like the characters but somethings just off o_O. Skip Beat isn't really overrated, it's just where it should be. It's good for the lulz, but the mangaka did a much better job on Tokyo Crazy Paradise methinks. Hunter X Hunter was great in the begging but the latest arc is just... ewwy. As for Inuyasha I watched the first 5 episodes, and read the last 10 chapters **. My friend filled the rest in. So no comment there really. -Ponders- Yep, that's about it 😎 .

That's a topic about manga, right? But well I don't understand if you really read also the manga or only watch the anime. There are many anime which are far better/worse than the manga. The manga depends basically only on one person (or maybe two) while the anime depends on many (director, designer, seiyuu, etc.) so I don't think it's right to judge a manga only if you've seen the anime (it's like to judge Homer's Iliad when you only saw the movie "Troy", that's an exaggeration but I hope you understood what I meant).

So basically it looks incredible to me to think of GTO as a overrated manga, even if I know that "de gustibus non est disputandum".

And above all for Kodocha, the anime is quite bad 'cause it's been heavily adapted to children, while the manga is the best manga I've ever read. It deals with many delicate themes like abortion, orphanage, pre-adolescent sex, juvenile delinquency, etc. in a very brilliant way.

Bitter Virgin, Claymore, Vagabond and specially School Rumble. Way overrated. Oh and GTO too. I found nothing in there funny or interesting.

I guess it's left to your opinion, but I have to disagree that Bitter Virgin, or GTO are overrated. And gto is very funny and.. I don't feel like explaing now how goot it is.

I think that DragonBall z became overrated after the whole Planet namek(How i remember that is anyones guess) arc and it became popular. YuGiOh is also overrated but thats a given. Also one that was not mentioned was Ai Yori Aoshi. Seriously, that was just annoying.

One Piece - The characters are all annoying and I cant believe so many people like it.
Naruto - I will admit I read some every once in a while but its not the epic manga some make it out to be.
Bleach - Same as One Piece.
Inyuyasha - I really wanted to like this one but I just couldn't.
Ouran - Ok I love this one but some people give it more credit than it deserves.
GTO - I absolutely hated the anime and probably wont give the manga a shot.

I would have to disagree with the people here that says berserk is overrated... I rarely see berserk mentioned.

I'd say Bitter Virgin is overrated. I just can't get it. I'd hear people say OMG BV is like so amazing, godly, w/e, and all this other stuff, and I wonder, "Was I reading the same BV as them?"
