I was wondering if you guys saw the new anime episode of Naruto. The one where Sai first appears. Did I miss something in between the side story episodes and the main story episodes? The anime version looks different from the manga....

I guess they just showed a teaser of stuff that's supposed to have in 30+- episodes. Probably because people got tired of waiting for Sasuke to show up in the manga.

that was kind of perverted.......well you know, they are not children anymore. Back to the important issue......I wonder if they'll show those little jokes from the manga version in the anime version.........You know those ones Sai has been saying to Naruto.....kind of disturbing too.....

I read the first 30 chapters or so of the manga, and I watched up to 223 of the anime

I'd go with the anime, even if the story is coming slower and there was those almost two years of filler episodes...

I haven’t been following Naruto for very long time now, just peeking a glimps here and there and I guess I’m not much into shounen action manga altogether, but girls might like Sasuke because he seems vulnerable. Vulnerability can be rather attractive.

I think they showed Sai as a teaser....actually..im pretty sure they did that as a teaser >> It gets ppl all curious and stuff, especially since they showed Sasuke(his new outfit is coz he's trainin with orochimaru btw, and it looks uber ><)and he's not even supposed to appear till..around episode 20 i think, he should make his appearance by then. The Anime is currently around 110 chapters away and 1 episode is about..3 chapters? 2 maybe...so it'll take a while. I cant really say i like the manga more than the anime or the anime more than the manga....i like manga for content(no fillers! and also better art) I like the anime for the animation(duh? 😛 ) and the voices 😀

well as far as i'm concerned they both have their good points. i started naruto by watching the anime and later went over to reading the manga after the story progressed to the sasuke escape arc of the story. i would have to say that i found it no hardship watching or reading. however the fillers were trash for the most part and i never watched it past 144.
i really enjoying how things are turning out in the story of the manga as they show us things that have changed with time as well as showing revealing more details of the things we may or may not have suspected.
i enjoy the story, art and action in the manga especially as the justsu and chakra esplainations are clearer, but the voices, music and action in the anime definitely make it worth watching. i haven't gotten into the new shippuden anime yet but i'm hoping that when the real fights start we'll see the fights in a whole new light. 😎

Ah! Yes the manga and the animation are differents, and the animation has to many patch episodes, (fillers). I do prefer the manga, but the animation it isn't that bad.

well.... i have only read the 1st volume of naruto manga and found it boring since i have alrady watched all of the naruto episodes...__ i dunno why all u guys find the anime so lame altho it is kinda cool.. Apart from the fillers, what is another drawback 😕 i really liked the anime and i believe shippuuden is even better.. i don't know about the manga (i wanna read it tho), but the anime kicks butt and is one of the most popular and fascinating anime >>
i would like to post in the "naruto is a MASTERPIECE" but it is locked.. shame.. _ naruto(both anime and , i suppose, manga) has everything: great plot, not only battles like dbz, but PLOT, great battles like sasuke vs naruto, naruto vs neji, naruto vs gaara, gaara vs deidara, nice girls for the perverts <<.... what else do u need 😕 i dont think it is childish either...
As for Sasuke, i finded him cool and stuff in the beginning, but now he turned evil and that is kinda appaling... However, he is very strong and maybe handsome ^_^ but not cute.. Who can be cute when 15yo?!
bah... this topic is not as interesting as NARUTO IS A MASTERPIECE.. whatever i havent read the manga yet.. but the anime is great!!
