Not looking for anything specific but the main plot should have some sort of revenge element, preferably the protagonist is a guy with some sort of special skill (physical, magical, intelletual doesn't matter which) and a polished art style (like no scribble-y lines, but obscure bgs are ok) with lots of details.

No guy and almost practically not what you're looking for.. but, I'm sorry, I just have to recommend it. Its so hilarious, and it does involve revenge!

Skip Beat - For all its shojo, it has almost no romance so far, and is hilariously funny. Plus, it DOES involve revenge, and the main character may be a girl, but she does have a special skill! (Although its more like its developing..) Its probably not what you're looking for, but I couldn't resist.

Oh, and I second Ubel Blatt.

Black Cat - The main character definitely wants revenge.
Trigun - somewhat.

Hell Girl deals with revenge and hatred in every story.

Akujo Seisho...it has a female lead.

Lady Snowblood also had a female lead (though great revenge stories).

Leviathan has revenge elements in several of its story arcs. Male lead, really odd powers...
