Anyways, I didn't vote, but, I wouldn't mind if Ichigo ended up with either Rukia or Orihime. And then you could also pair Rukia with Ishida or that guy with the red hair (I can't believe that I forgot his name) safely. As for Tatsuki, I always thought that she was just not enough in the scene.

I definitely see Ichigo pairing up with Orihime. She's had a crush on the man for the longest, and more importantly: SHE'S HUMAN.
But I digress, being human or not might play a small role in relationships (i.e. Ichigo's Dad)

Besides that, Rukia is seen more as a mentor. I'd relate Ichigo's and Rukia's bond to Ichigo and Yoruichi's bond, just a lot stronger. This is further supported by what Rukia said to Ichigo when she and Renji first appeared in Hueco Mundo.

I always thought was chad was just straight up pimp. He's seems to be somewhat of a classic film noir hero, strong, man of few words, powers falling on the darker side of the hollow-shinigami spectrum and has a heart of gold. Although the girl in the series that i can see him ending up with is Tatsuki, probably the only normal female that could equal his physical prowess, understand that he's not crazy when he sees ghost, and is wrapped IMO a cute package.

And yeah, I always thought that too about Tatsuki.. But I still feel that she'll get a lot of screen time in the future.. I mean, she's Ichigo's (best) friend.. They've known each other for a long time.. Watch the scene between Tatsuki and Ichigo at Episode 142..

Tatsuki:
"What.. What am I..?...... What am I to you..?! Weren't we pals..? Weren't we friends..?! I saved you all those times when you were getting beaten up..! I've seen you upset so many times, and have helped you through each one..! Don't try to hide things for me..!"

Besides, Inoue in the beginning also barely played a part in the story.. But look at her part now..

This is gonna sound weird, but I'm going to say none of them. I'd actually go for Tatsuki myself as she's much more my type, but I can't see Ichigo going for her. Orihime annoys me, Rukia and Ichigo have 0 chemistry, Nell is hot, but uh... that's a doomed relationship from the getgo imho.

Realistically speaking, Ichigo isn't going to end up with anyone in my opinion.. Though if he would end up with someone, I'd prefer Orihime..

That scene read dejected ichigo to me... lol I guess it's all in how you read it. (like the calender cover, total ichiruki for me but not for alot of people)

So for me neither things what you said support Rukia being just his teacher. Really to compare the bond between Yoruichi and Ichigo as similar to Ichigo and Rukia's is really an affront to what they have built over the time they knew each other. (imo)

i'd pick nel couse she was already more than willing to fight to the death in her real form for ichigo, but being that she is not a human/shinigami, its doomed from the start.

No, Ichigo isn't a human because he is no longer living, after his soul chain was cut he became a soul. Not that it really matters because shinigami and humans can get together. >>

And Ichigo does indeed survive, since he was saved by Urahara...

With the emphasis on spirits... Which means that if he wasn't a human but a Shinigami, other humans couldn't see him anymore... And there's more than enough proof to demonstrate that Ichigo still can be seen by humans.
