Your right about Rukia changing Ichigo's life. No doubt.
But i got the idea of Ichigo being a mentor when he told Ganzu why he wanted to rescue Rukia during the soul society arc. And the words of encouragement she gave Ichigo to fight again during the time he feared his hollow.

(This is a stretch, but work with me here 😁 ) If you went back to the beginning and replaced Rukia's role with a man, then Rukia's and Ichigo's relationship would still be the same, and I wouldn't see it as homosexual either.
If you did that for Inoue, well then you would have one extremely gay man.

P.S. Im not talking about relations with other character's, just strictly between Ichigo.

Actually, He is not a Vizard, cause a vizard is a shinigami who has gained hollow powers, but he got both hollow and shinigami powers at the same time, it just took him a while to gain control of his hollow power.

If you still don't believe me, here's some more proof.

Rukia says, "A Shinigami is a spiritual body! It can only be seen by other [u]spirits[/u]!"

With the emphasis on spirits... Which means that if he wasn't a human but a Shinigami, other humans couldn't see him anymore... And there's more than enough proof to demonstrate that Ichigo still can be seen by humans.

See the problem with that is Chad, Tatsuki, Orihime, Ishida, Keigo, Mizuro can all see spirits. As can Yuzu(er feel) and Karin.

Also, because his chain was cut, Ichigo's body is essentially a gigai. So of course no one would have a problem seeing it. :/

Also Vaizards people can see them >_>

Also about that statement, of course he would say something like that.

He wouldn't say "I'm not a Vizard, but a human who gained Shinigami powers". >.< That is too long and lame~ Instead just say "I'm not a Vizard, but a Shinigami". See how that fits better.

And another reason for that, is that Shinigami is the highest classification for him, if you know what I mean. 😕

Like Shinigami > Human.

Just like Grimmjow would never say that he was a spirit, because that's what he obviously is. He wouldn't say that he was an 'Hollow' either. He would say that he's an 'Arrancar'.

So by that way, it should be: Arrancar > Hollow > Spirit.

He didn't mean that literally. He meant it more in the sense of gaining Shinigami powers.

Here's what Urahara said on the same page, but further down.

"When this lesson ends, you will once again wield the powers of the Shinigami"

That fits much more with the explanation that he is indeed a human, who acquired Shinigami powers.

Also he said 'continue living', which means continue-ing an act which he had been doing 'till then. And that is being human, because he sure wasn't a Shinigami before.

He was human, and he will continue to be human.
He was not a Shinigami, so he won't continue being a Shinigami.

See, even you doubt your own theory. Yuzu can only feel spirits. But why is it that she sees Ichigo? It's because he's human, that's why.

And what about the teacher of Ichigo?

She obviously didn't had a lot of interaction with Ichigo, but still she sees him.

And could you also show me one moment, where Mizuiro sees an supernatural being/spirit? Because as far as I know, there were none.

Since when has that been stated? Could you please show me the chapter? I think that Tite would say that somewhere in the manga, since that's an important detail.

Btw, a gigai is an artificial body, purposefully created for Shinigamis. How can Ichigo's body be like that?

Also I've found more proof on to why Ichigo is a human.

Rukia says...

"It's not your 'body', but your 'soul' that has become a Shinigami."

Which means that he is a human, who has Shinigami powers. Because nothing has changed with his body.

And my last proof is something that Aizen said;

"And goodbye to the young Ryoka. For a human, you entertained me very much"

Aizen is hardly ever wrong.
