Lol... i DID have a WTF moment there... and its not a bad idea XD hehe, but i know... i kinda threaten people with my needles holding them ninja style... lol XD and yeah... i can sympathise with all your points up there.

oh and that reminds me, another one happened to me today.

Today for PE class we had to play Rugby, im one of the tall giant fat guys... so i was pretty much passed to and expected to run through packs and packs of people at a time... that did happen XD but there was this once when three of my friends thought that it had to stop... i was tackeled by three people at once. i hit the ground shoulder first and my head hit the ground.. HARD... i got up and fell down again and i realised why like 2 minutes after being in a featal position... i was elbowed in the twin towers and i sat out the rest of PE class... now i have a bruised shoulder, a splitting headache and a tendancy to walk with my legs spread out... WIDE... :'(

I don't really remember that much WTF-moments... but I can still recall a few.

Such as when I was riding my bike right next to my friend and our steers sort of hooked together. I pulled my steer back with force to avoid collision, but I pulled too hard so that I suddenly crossed the road next to the bicycle path. Somehow I safely reached the other side of that road.. a road that knew a lot of traffic. When I stood there at the other side of the road hearing all the cars honk I was totaly thinking "WTF just happened and how the fuck did I get here".

Another WTF-moment is when I walked out of a party and somebody was pissing in the bushes. Suddenly the guy fell on his back (still pissing, but this time on himself) and started vomiting all over himself.

Another one is when I took a break leaning against a pole during camp, stood up after what seemed 5 or 10 minutes or so, only to go back to where the rest of the group was. First thing they said to me was "Where the hell have you been for the last 3 hours ?!!"

Wow just remembered some moments from the camp I just got back from 😀
3 actually 😛 .

First up started on an evening when we decided to do some drinking games. The next morning we suddenly were a member short. After a search & retrieve attempt we got a call from him. Appareantly he thought he had salmonella from the river and decided to walk 20km to a train station, where he took a train to Mechelen. Mechelen is one train away from his home and several from where we were, but it seemed his money was up so he called us. Anyway that whole story gave me another WTF alright!

Here's the second: one evening "the guys" made a litlle trip to the village nearby but I decided not to go because I twisted my ankle and I wanted to give it some rest. So I went to sleep early and didn't wait for the guys to come back.
Now when I woke up I was absolutly stunned because of two things: First because the guys didn't woke me up when they got back (because every single one of us likes to make as much noise as possible). Second because the ones that did wake me up afterall were the police :s
I stayed in my sleepingbag fearless because I though "Nothing wrong here, the onliest illegal thing that was going on were the 4 chopped trees we hided and they couldn't possible discover by staying inside our sleeping tent).

But here comes the WTF-moment.... as soon as I turn my head to look who's sleeping next to me, I didn't see a person but I did see a wooden bank, 3 chairs, 4 small statues, 3 solarpower lamps and some other stuff that didn't belong to us and was probably stolen. Appareantly they guys made the trip into a "RIP-trip", searching for trophies to take along with them. Good thing all ended well and we only had to make an appology and a 150EUR fine.

But the WTF-ness didn't end for that day. Soon as the police left our salmonella-shitting-barfing-friend came back without warning. Well that can be considered good news. Bad news was that the reverand called to say that he was arriving in 5 minutes to say hello. Our camp was still a mess (food-fight leftovers, beerbottles all over, our own chairs were everywhere same as the axes and chovels) and we only had 5 mins clean up time. Looking back it worked out pretty good, but it still was a big WTF moment.

Third and final moment that I'm going to remember and type here, is the final evening at camp when we were sitting at the campfire. Suddenly while I was dozing off lost in my thoughts I heard someone scream "Everybody run away from the fire and get down". I immediatly ran away and found cover after a table that layd on the ground. I imagined that someone threw anothor parfume bottle in the fire to cause a small bang. Suddenly I heard a giant bang that even left a small crater in the fire. Seconds after I heard something land in the distance.
It seemed someone tried to go a bit beyond the small parfume bottles and threw a small gas tank with butane (used for gas lamps) in it. Nobody was angry though... just impressed of the explosion and the WTF-ness that was going throught everybody's mind.

I remember I had a WTF just last week when I was riding my bike. I was going to turn a corner when a minivan came straight at me from around the corner 😲 , and I was like WTF. I was startled. Then I quickly turned my bike around and started peddling back to my house, which was pretty close by. I went and parked my bike in the garage and came out. Next think I knew, the minivan that almost ran me over was parked near our house and my cousin came out of the car, laughing. I was like WTF again. 🤢

The most recent one was about a week ago when I woke up to find a half-dead bird in my living room... courtesy of my cute kitty. I mean how could something that adorable kill birds for fun? It happened about three times. My kitty's a serial bird killer.

Well as Phyros might know, when your diabvetic and low/hi on blood sugar you can be moody sometimes, in my case today, I was higher than usual (not too high was at 14.0) and i became really moody, my friend comes up to me and well, to my own shock, i had punched him in the gut and kicked him... i mean i didnt even htink, my body kinda acted on its own... Biggest WTF moment was in college in '94. Hadn't phreaked, but been a computer geek for a while - looong before it was in any way socially acceptable. : )

Hooked up to the universities internet connection, (lynx, gopher, ftp, and Yanoff's List - if that helps date me. ; ) and started looking around. Realized that I'd never - ever - be able to read or learn any sizeable portion of what was available, and that it'd grow over time like yeast - exponential expansion.

Sat there in a daze for a whole weekend - just doing the minimum to live - just thinking, and trying to wrap my brain around all the possibilities.

Worked, too, kinda. I've made a comfortable living off my guestimates from back then.

All things considered, one of the better WTF moments.

Second place is a reoccurring WTF, courtesy of a fried of mine. He has the most unwholesome luck I have ever had the misfortune to be present for. If he gambles – he wins. Always. Supermarket scratchoffs, lottery tickets, charity raffles, people-leaving-$2000-in-small-bills-in-his-rental-car – it really doesn’t matter. He’ll do the weirdest things, and somehow it all comes together perfectly. He’ll stop at a radioshack to browse, and find a weird satellite tv component clearanced at 90% off, and trade it with a friend for a 30foot satellite dish worth a few grand. He’ll pull into a gas station to buy 3 gallons of gas – ‘cause it’s 2cents cheaper then the station nearer his home, get into a conversation with another customer, and walk away with a (fully legal) title to a Saab 9000 – for free.

I’ve known him for more than 15 years now – you’d think I’d get used to it, and I mostly am. Still, sometimes causality and probability get so distorted that I swear I can see the very fabric of space and time twitching around his shoulders. Yeah. That’s a WTF moment.

I recently learned that my subconscious can be rather dominant... I was at the college dorms registering for classes and on the second day both of my room-mates were acting kind of wierd, in that they were apologizing for late night calls profusely. One of the girls, Sarah, had a boyfriend who texted her ALL night (I'm serious, like every ten min. she would get a text even though she was trying to sleep) and it happend more than one night. So I was getting kind of annoyed but I also recognized that she couldn't turn her phone off because it doubled as her alarm clock so I didn't say anything. Or so I thought. However, my other roommate recently told me that sometime after one Sarah's boyfriend had texted her and I told her "YOU! Go to sleep! Yes you!" and when my other roommate asked me if I was conscious I replied "of course I'm conscious!" O_O I was like WTF because I have no memory of this ever happening.

The only WTF moments I can remember right now are from dreams.

1.... I was rock climbing or something with some friends and we were on a extremely narrow ledge. I think I had that dream before so I thought if we fall down, everything will be fine, because that's how it worked out before. So I jump off, and as I fall, I thought it'd be funny to pretend to be Superman. The I started flying. I woke up and was like wtf.

2.... I was some secret agent or something and infiltrated the bad guys hideout. It ended with me getting kicked in the balls. I woke up instantly and was in the air, about half a foot from what I remember. I was four or so IIRC.

WTF moment:
it happened on a tour bus.
there were still 5 hours til our next stop.
my brother needed to pee really really bad.
so we gave him a bottle (430ml) to pee in the back of the bus.
when he came back, we were all like WTF!!!
he filled up the whole bottle and needed another bottle.
the funny thing is, the bottle he peed in used to contain lemon tea....
my father (didn't know that my bro peed) almost drank it.....

My biggest WTF moment of the week was definitely when my sister told me she watched all of Code Geass and I had no idea 😲
I'm on the computer all the time, so I swear she was lying, but then we started talking about it and...well, it was pretty clear she wasn't. I was so in shock 🤣 I caught her watching episode 25 and started freaking out cuz I thought she was totally spoiling everything! We planned on watching it together eventually, so I didn't want her to just ruin everything for herself! I guess it turns out that she just couldn't wait 😛

She had been waking up early for the past couple of weeks to watch a couple of anime on TV, then she went on the computer and went back to sleep after a couple of hours. I thought she was watching Fate/Stay Night all that time! Guess that explains why it took her so long to finish it 😛 Later she told me that she wanted to finish all the episodes that are out before telling me and then saying something you could only know after watching the majority of it 🤣 (But even then, I probably would have said that she just read that on Wikipedia).

i had a WTF moment last night. it was 2 a.m. and i was trying to sleep but something didn't let me. it took me quite a few minutes to figure out in my half-asleep state that some loud music was playing outside. some house track. it was annoying and at the same time i liked it. it didn't stop so i looked out of the window. i thought it was one of the neighbours. i went back to my bed and tried to sleep. the music stopped for a few seconds then started voodoo people from prodigy. i was like what the f...?? then i heard some moving outside and ran to the window again and i found the source of music. it came from a taxi. that gave me a laugh 🤣

i had a similar experience as otakubaybay. i went to take some beer bottles from some shelves and then suddenly: i didn't feel it but i knew i was shaking uncontrollably. i dropped the bottle somehow without knowing but i heard the sound. then everything came back to normal. it was a freaky moment. and luckily the bottle didn't brake. 🙂

Well when you talk about dreams, i dont know if its jsut me but i get a faint feeling of de ja vu... its like i see a little glint of the future in my dreams and its jsut for a split second, and i cant really make anything out of it untill it actually really happens, then i htink... wow it feels so familliar, its like i've gone through this before, and i realise eventually that it actualyl happenend in a dream or a flash of a dream, its like for a split second a picture shows up and you cant really tell waht it was untill you see it again... its weird... i dont want to tbe htis weird but i just gbet a real sense of De Ja Vu.... well it musht jsut be that im sort of super powered otaku guy with futuristic powers... but the funniest thing is that the last one i remember was of a toilet in a department store the other day... i went in and did my buisness and i was liek OH MY GOD! It happened agaiN!!!.. it has happened a few times but it nenevr fails to suprise me...

oh by the way, that lucky friend of yours wouldnt happen to be a haruhi-like character would he?? sounds so much like what would happen to suzumiya haruhi...
